Plus mercury can cause a wide array of other symptoms. Dan
Guest guest
Hi, There is a ton of information on metallic taste if you go throuh the search engine with, mouth metallic taste " . I always look to digestive problems first. When digestion is off, B 12 and zinc become deficient, as well as everything else, and a metallic taste will be present. Of course it could be an infection, medication or a tooth problem, causing the taste. It certainly is not normal and you are wise to check it out. All my best, Sheila > >> The past week or so I have had a distinct metallic " after-taste " > >> following any cough or sneeze. Guest guest
My mother fractured her hip and was under heavy pain medication. She, too, had a VERY strong metallic taste in her mouth, so distasteful that she was unable to drink water (not good with all the drugs she was taking) which led to an emergency dehydration situation. The EMT suggested " Thrush " as the problem causing the metallic taste and had her brush her tongue with bicarb of soda on her toothbrush to get rid of the thrush. To our suprise, this got rid of the metallic taste and she was able to drink water and re-hydrate. Just another situation with a " metallic taste " that I will never forget!! The body is so curious. -- Lea --- Kunold <*@...> wrote: > > RE: Metallic Taste > > > I have a prospective client who is complaining of > a metallic taste in her mouth. Guest guest
But did you take care of the Thrush? Otherwise it is within her system and reoccur at a later time, worse. Guest guest
Hi , I've had the metallic taste for years. I have noticed that it arrives post contamination. For me it's slightly metallic and slightly acidic. Here's an odd question, does he avoid using certain types of silverware? I can taste metals in silverware and in some drinking glasses. I have no idea what that's attributed to, but it would make sense if it was related to the stomach. I'll do some research and see if I can come up with anything. I wouldn't be too worried though- I'm 27 and still kickin'! Best wishes, ~ Crystal > > Hello, Has anyone heard of having a metalic taste in their mouth. My 10yo that was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease has been complaining of a metalic taste in his mouth and I have no idea why, he is not on any medications and no visible blood in his mouth. Has anyone experience this???? > > Thank you > > >
Guest guest
I get that metallic taste in my mouth usually when my body is, well for lack of a better term detoxing. I have fibromyalgia and when my body goes thru a flare the dr. said my body is detoxing itself and I can usually tell it's coming on by the metallic taste I get. kc
