I believe in California you have to live here for a specific period of

time before you are eligible for Medi-Cal benefits. (It has to do with

everyone wanting to move to California and jump on the benefits programs

-- since I think the payments are higher in California than in most

states.)

Is there anything in here that could answer that for you?
