look at this link. LOOK. http://www.round-

earth.com/HeadPainIntro.html It is the best link i have ever

found on referred head pain. We were just talking about this VERY

type of headache on our jaw boards. My chiropracter says it comes

from the occiput nerve, but I have this, exact thing(not as severe as

yours) and I am positive it comes from the neck. I dont know how to

get rid of it tho, only it is the neck causing it. Hope you feel

better!!!!!! cindy

Hi !

Nice to see you! Sorry about you having these headaches! They're

terrible, I know. Yes, Absolutely from your neck. I have had the same

thing going on for YEARS! I complained to every doctor that I have

seen about them and each one of them without having to even think

about it said it's because of my neck. One of my doctors has a bad

neck as well and he said that he gets these too. Over the years I

have tried just about everything I could think of, meds (lots of

them), inversion, patches, rest, braces, ice, heat, injections (yes

in the head, occipital, as well as the neck)...even had a brain mri

to see if I had a brain tumor or something else it got so bad.

If you'd like to talk about this, send me an email. Maybe something

I've tried could help you. Feeling like you've got a headache hang-

over today? The bad ones always wiped me out the day after too.

What did the ER do for this? Feel Better !

Hi , 1st let me give you some background on myself, approximately

17 years ago I was I was in a car accident that broken my neck and

permanatley dislocated my left shoulder ( I have 2 bulging disksbetween

5-6 & 7-7), then 5 years later I was rear-ended and ended up with 3

bulging disks in my lower back, and then 3 years ago I was a passenger

in another car accident that left me with 3 bulging disk all with anular

tears leaking fluid into my spinal cord in t-8-9, t9-10, t10-11 and I

have very severe headaches as well. I only have one consulation for my

pain besides pain meds. I take a back massager on low and then start at

my shoulders and back then up onto my head to relax the muscles that

have tensed up soo badly its hard for me to even see or hear. I do it

untill I am relaxed enough to just lay there without tensing up, I dont

sleep during that time because I could turn in my sleep and then tense

those muscles back up. I lust lat there and meditate or listen to

relaxing music for 1/2 and hour to an hour. Now the headaches either go

away or almost go away so that I can function again for awhile. Thats

what works for me, hopefully that might help for you. *side note: the

pain meds dont take the pain away completely so I have to do something!*

Also if you try the massager of=n you head set it on low and put a towel

or some other buffer between you and the massager to stop any bumping

and the massager on your head causing worse pain. I am sorry for you

pain and i hope this can help. Jaygi

Thank you everyone for your support and advice!! The headaches is

finally gone, 3 day migraine with that broken neck feeling was so

miserable! I am now totally wiped out, feel like I haven't slept in a

week and I'm dizzy and just not feeling right. I think that 3 days of

that kind of pain just wiped me out and hopefully tomorrow will be

better. I'm sorry to hear so many get these terrible headaches! I have

several pain issues but this type of headache has to be the worst! Has

anyone had any luck with a chiropractor for their headaches or neck

pain? Thanks again & I hope everyone has a low pain day.
