Guest guest
Does anyone have a homemade ice cream recipe they can pass along? Ice cream is one of my favorite desserts and I would like to keep it that way. I looked at the health food store with the hopes that there would be something, anything, but,........it was all made with sugar. The general idea seems to be that as long as it is organic it is good for you. I am more than willing to make my own. I believe that Vinny has assumed that the person eating the raw ingredients ice cream is mainly a raw food eater. These folks, myself included, already know about and experience many bouts of cleansing and detoxification once cooked foods are greatly reduced or eliminated from the diet. The ice cream has a potent effect toward inducing the detoxification -- but it is not related to difficulty with digestion. Quite the contrary - raw foodists usually have little problem with digestion in my experience. If one also eats cooked foods then the ice cream may not bring on the cleansing. Guest guest
Thank you for the ice cream recipe. > >>>>>>>>>>>And chocolate chip cookies too! Good idea. I'll have to work on that one. I'll pass along a recipe for that as soon as I make a good one. Peace and Love of Christ be with you, Robin

It almost sounds like eating raw ice cream for the purpose of detoxifying would work just as good as a fast. Or, would it be dangerous? I know I need a good cleaning. Guest guest
Mark- I don't know if you can comment on what Vinny said about what AV said, but I thought AV was opposed to frozen foods. Not so in the case of raw ice cream? And if it's OK by him, why would the ingredients of ice cream be more detoxifying when made into ice cream than when eaten separately? AFAIK cream, eggs, colostrum, etc., are all foods he recommends eating regularly, not occasionally due to their detox power. >Lastly, le[t] me remind you that Aajonus strongly advises eating raw ice cream >only once per months due to it's powerful solvent and detoxifying >properties. He is definitely against frozen food such as meat, etc. There is a reduction of the " vital force " (over time) of the food when frozen. Ice cream - being so tasty - won't last long in the freezer ;-) But meat suffers degradation in the freezer when kept there for a while. I suppose that ice cream, being so tasty, is something that most people " pig out " on and indulge in more than the component parts. All of the raw foods do urge the body to rid itself of toxins. And I imagine that with the ice cream (and people's gluttony with such a taste treat) it is more powerful simply because of the amount eaten. I find that I eat more of ice cream than I eat of individual components (over time) and maybe that is the only reason there is a recommended precaution. It is a simple formula to my way of thinking - the more raw food eaten the more detoxification will result (until the body rids itself of toxins).
