Guest guest
> How would you refute the fats not carbs contribute to diabetes > and that milk drinkers are prone to diabetes arguments presented? > It's definitely not in sync with what we've discussed here. ly, I wouldn't bother. Debating that point is like evolutionists debating creationists. The evidence being used by the respecitive sides isn't even of the same type. Neither side will produce evidence that the other will trust. On top of that, PCRM is not a legitimate research organization. They're not even a legitimate education or public interest organization. They are an anti-meat propaganda tool funded by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). I'm an ardent advocate of animal humane issues, but PETA and PCRM disgust me. Legitimate activism involves education and persuasion not misinformation, exaggeration and subterfuge. However, if I were pressed to refute them, I'd do so first with WAP. His healthy primitives consumed moderate to high (animal) fat diets , yet they did not suffer diabetes...or any other chronic degenerative disease. Secondly I'd point out that fat consumption in general, and saturated fat consumption in particular has fallen throughout those periods of time in which diabetes has risen the most precipitously...especially the last thirty years which has seen dramatic decreases in animal fat consumption accompanied by a three- fold increase in the number of people with diabetes.
