Guest guest
Debbie!!!!!!!! I had an interesting Thanksgiving and it is great to hear words from you! Thank you for calling me when you did-- I am BACK in my home!!! two days now and feel just fine about it-- even though it is very isolated- - - I am back home. I'm sponsering two Indian students who are getting the car that my best friend left behind when he died here and I invited them for traditional Thanksgiving and they loved coming over to the farm where I was living at that time and seeing how America farms with sheep. They were dorable boys-- 23 years old and brilliant! I will be traveling to Atlanta for XMAS to be with my son and granddaughter. So that ought to be interesting-- my son and I watch tons of football and shop together at the last minute. He is an engineer if you recall. I don't know much about Lyrica only that is can cause a lot of weight gain but it is good for nerve pain as my PT is on it. I saw the Spine Dr today and he said that surgery is inevitable but because I am a vocalist I may hold it off because of the 4 % chance of it ruining my vocal chords. So good to hear from you and take care sweetie! Love Annie GO GATORS A poet is, after all, to see From: Debbie Carlomagno <debbiecarlomagno@...> Subject: Re: Where is everyone? Hows is everyone feeling? neck pain Date: Thursday, December 4, 2008, 2:47 PM Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great thanksgiving and I've been thinking of all of you as I was struggling through trying to play host for a dinner. I was in so much pain from making it that I couldn't enjoy eating it, but...I made it through another holiday ~ Hooray! I'm still doing the same, still trying to push myself a little bit harder everyday to see what's on the other side of the hump...but I haven't made it far enough to see that yet. I'll let ya know if...when I get there ( trying to think positive! ) Because of this my pain has definately increased and I am trying to just deal with it. I really don't want to get more facet joint/facet nerve joint injections done, besides for them hurting they don't do very much to help and thinking long term it's just not that good for ya. I do have a Q for anyone out there taking Lyrica, my doc recently increased my dose so I'm taking a double dose at bedtime, it's been about a month now and I have noticed (which could be totally unrelated but worth asking) that my knees and my ankles have been painful...that's a new one for me. I'm used to sciatic in both legs from the L5-Sl (herniated, desiccated, degenerative)...Hmmm, could that be it? Does the L5-S1 make the knees and ankles hurt too?? Anybody have any input on this? I'd appreciate it, it's driving me a bit nuts! Thanks!! (Special 'Shout out' to and Annie!! Hey Girls!!)
