Guest guest
My husband applied for SSDI and we went thru some routine examination (Xray, mental, orthopedic). Now, SSDI is sending a DR to visit us at HOME. Do evaluation at home. Evaluation of what? Is it even legal? Any info from the group will be very valuable. Thanks. **************Life should be easier. Guest guest
I don't know the answer to your question Shirley, and if no one else responds, you can call Marcie Frawley at Health and Disability Advocates, 312-223-9600. She should be able to get you that information. Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@... SSDI Question Does anyone know what the amounts were for 2005-2009 that you can make each month and still receive SSDI benefits? I got a letter that wants me to go back to 2005 and let them know what months went over that amount. I have to dig in the box's under the house to get this information and I will but was just hoping someone had this info. I tried to look on the website but I could only find 2008 and 2009. I think 2008 was $940 and this year is $980. Thanks for your help. Shirley

Shirley > Below, please find the amount per year: 2005 $830 2006 $860 2007 $900 2008 $940 2009 $980 But remember, there are some Employee Related Work Expenses that you can subtract from the monthly income: - your cost of medication - your cost of " special " transportation These are known as ERWE - you can find a list of them at ssa.gov.
