Does anyone here know of a way to treat a burn (hot steam burn) so as to help

minimize scarring?

How about aloe vera? I know it works well directly after the burn happens. We

keep a plant around for that purpose.

Eat lots of raw meat and butter. Scarring can occur when there is

insufficient high quality protein for repair of the wound. Butter

will assist metabolism of the meat for tissure repair rather than

fuel. Butter will also provide the necessary lipids for the new cell

membranes.

The vitamin E... or the raw honey....do these need to be applied immediately

after th eburn occurs in order to be effective? This burn is about 13 days old,

the scab has already fallen off and now it is just pink and shiny.
