I use Molokosan whey here in London, it's excellent and I've made great

whey cheese and fermented carrot with it. Dr Vogel was a Swiss naturopath

and bioforce make his herbal remedies. He believed in the curative power of

whey and perscribed molokosan for his patients.

If you have raw milk, just let sour on its own in a warm temperature, and

you'll get whey.

The " recipe " for yoghurt normally is to heat the milk to scalding before

letting it cool and adding the culture. So if the milk was raw

(unpasturized) to start with it is no longer raw after that. I have heard

that you can make raw yoghurt by adding the culture to raw milk without

having heated it first but it just takes longer to set up. I haven't tried

it myself.

At the Islington farmers market I saw people selling goat cheese and yogurt. I

don't know if they were pasturized or not. That market is just opposite the

green on sundays 10-2. But that's where I found the raw guernsey milk and if

you don't mind cows, you could make your own yoghurt from that.

Or you could try Bourough market on fridays and saturdays. There are lots of

stalls there. Many cheeses and meats and all sorts of interesting things. I

found unparsturized caerphilly cheese and cheshire cheese there that's sooo

good. There were goats products there too but again I didn't ask about

pasturization as I don't like goat. They also had kid meat for sale too and

ostrich meat!

Or I'd try in Planet Organic in torrington place, just off tottenham court

road. I have seen unpasturized sheeps yougurt there so they might get goat

too.

Hope that helps
