[NVICAP-CA] Veto AB499, Exemptions, and Film Screening

Dear California NVIC Advocacy Team Members,

There are 3 important items that we wanted to bring to your attention in

California:

1) We only have a few more days left (last day is

October 9th) to get Governor Brown to Veto AB499 (vaccination

of minors for STD’s without parental knowledge or consent) and we need

everyone to continue to call and write asking Governor Brown for the veto

of AB499. California taxpayers are going to be stuck paying for this

removal of parental rights!

2) California families not wanting to give their

7th -12th grade children the Tdap vaccine under the

new mandate can use the same medical or philosophical exemption available

to students for all vaccine mandates. Many parents are not being

told about their rights! Help spread the word.

3) The Greater Good Movie has several upcoming

screenings in California in West Hollywood October 14 – 20, 2011 and in

Carmel on October 14th. You wonn’t want to miss this movie

documenting the lives of families affected by vaccine reactions and

looking at the policies that contributed to these reactions.

THE GREATER GOOD will be shown during a 7 day run at the Laemmle Sunset 5

Theater in West Hollywood, California, October 14th-20th, 2011. Screening
