Guest guest
Hello, I am Dr. Lynda Hardin-Poston (most call me Dr. Lynda). I am a Holistic/Natural Health Practitioner practicing in College Station, TX. I am vehemently opposed to vaccinations of any kind for children. I believe some vaccinations are helpful for the elderly or extremely ill who have weakened immune systems, however, even then, much care should be taken and great weighing of the options reviewed before they receive vaccinations. I feel that a healthy, well nourished child can withstand any childhood illness with no ill effects and they will be naturally immune for life after having the illness. This is God's way of protecting us. The reason they are referred to as " childhood illnesses " is because a child is able to get over them fast and with few, if any real problems. It is true that some have died of such things as the red measles or whooping cough, however, fewer die of the disease than of the vaccinations against them. Personally, I would rather take my chances with the diseases than to accept the known risk from the vaccines. The most important thing is to keep the child healthy. With a good immune system, they will breeze right through any childhood illness just fine. You may loose your mind, but they will be fine. Should anyone have any questions they wish to ask, please feel free to email me. My clinical email is listed below. I look forward to reviewing all correspondence on this board to see other's experiences and feelings regarding vaccinations. Blessings, Dr. Lynda Hardin-Poston 5109 Stotzer Pwy.
