Interesting story, further confirming the contamination of the food

supply; however, I don't buy the " prion " theory of mad cow

disease. It has too many holes. I think Mark Purdey is on the

right track with his theory of chemical toxicity in combination with

manganese overload as the cause of mad cow and CJD. (I don't

support feeding animal by-products to ruminants, but not

because of mad cow.) I'd read Mark Purdey's theories before I

heard of the WAPF, and it was a pleasant surprise to find he

contributed to their site and publications.

Before you get all excited about mad cow disease I suggest you read these

articles from Mark Purdey at the WA Price Foundation web site. Another case

of government jumping off the deep end, and then pulling the wool over our

eyes!
