Guest guest
Interesting story, further confirming the contamination of the food supply; however, I don't buy the " prion " theory of mad cow disease. It has too many holes. I think Mark Purdey is on the right track with his theory of chemical toxicity in combination with manganese overload as the cause of mad cow and CJD. (I don't support feeding animal by-products to ruminants, but not because of mad cow.) I'd read Mark Purdey's theories before I heard of the WAPF, and it was a pleasant surprise to find he contributed to their site and publications. http://www.westonaprice.org/myths_truths/myths_truths_mad.ht ml http://www.westonaprice.org/myths_truths/myths_truths_mad2.h tml Aubin

Guest guest
Before you get all excited about mad cow disease I suggest you read these articles from Mark Purdey at the WA Price Foundation web site. Another case of government jumping off the deep end, and then pulling the wool over our eyes! http://www.westonaprice.org/myths_truths/myths_truths_mad.html http://www.westonaprice.org/myths_truths/myths_truths_mad2.html Peace, Kris , gardening in northwest Ohio ----- Original Message ----- From: <umbasheer@...> < > Sent: Monday, May 27, 2002 9:16 AM Subject: Eat chicken today get mad cow disease tommorow? > Sorry this didn't go through the first time. > > Last night, the Los Angeles Lakers basketball > team got creamed by the Sacramento Kings and fell > behind 2 games to 1 in the Western Coference > finals. > > Earlier this week, Lakers star Kobe > got creamed with a severe case of food poisoning > after eating a cheeseburger and cheesecake. > > The Los angeles Laker's coach, Phil , > gave this nutritional advice to Kobe: > > " We told him if he had some chicken > soup, he'd be fine.
