Warning people about junk food

Hi everybody,

Some years ago, both my parents died of degenerative diseases. My mother

died of bone cancer, and my father was crippled by a stroke. Both of them

wasted away with these diseases for about two years.

By the time they died, they had shriveled up and resembled victims of the

famine in Bangladesh. It tore my heart out to see their suffering.

Later, I discovered the work of Weston Prize, and realized that it was junk

food that had killed them and many others that I had seen die around me.

The slaughter, of course, continues because most people think the food

they're eating is okay. And the media won't tell them the truth because the

media is either owned by the giant junk food conglomerates or is controlled

by their advertising money.

At this point, I could have just shrugged my shoulders and said, " That's

just the way it is. And there's nothing I can do about it "

But it occurred to me that, if we all do that, it would be like standing by

and watching blind people strolling toward a cliff and falling thousands of

feet below onto sharp rocks. No decent person would do such thing.

So I decided that since the conglomerates obviously won't warn people about

their deadly products, only a grass-roots campaign will do it. I know I can

't do it all, but I can do something.

So I recently started a web site to warn as many people as possible about

the danger of junk food.

I'm sending this e-mail to you all to ask your help. In order to convince

people to stop eating junk food, I need to know how to reach them.

For example, what convinced YOU to stop eating junk food? What arguments

can I use to persuade people to stop eating junk food they love? What am I

doing wrong?

I would be grateful for any help any of you kind people care to give me.

The name of my website is healthyisnatural.com.

And I apologize for this long e-mail to this chat group.

Hugs to all, Ed
