Guest guest
Irene, I just received a catalog from www.4radiantlife.com, I think I saw acerola powder in there. NT recommends this site in the resource section many times, so I'd try there. Robin <<Does anyone have a source for acerola powder? All I can find in stores are the tablets and they have lots of other additives in them. Irene>>

Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I just called radient life. Although it is not on their website (which is being modified), they now carry all the items needed to make the infant formula. Guest guest
Have you tried their coconut oil? They say they don't use high heat in the processing. I wonder if it can be considered raw. Guest guest
yes we love it. we bought a gallon and have nearly finished it off so were thinking of buy 5 gallons next time we order. the oil is unrefined and has a wonderful favor. i found the wilderness family naturals via http://www.coconut-info.com/ and here's an excerpt from that site: " This Tropical Traditions <http://tropicaltraditions.com> Virgin Coconut oil is a truly unrefined coconut oil. This coconut oil is made on Mt. Banahaw from organic coconuts. Coconuts are used fresh (within 48 hours of harvest) from small family farms on Mt. Banahaw in Quezon Province, the coconut capital of the Philippines. The volcanic soil of Mt. Banahaw makes these organic coconuts some of the most nutritionally rich coconuts in the world! Testing done in independent laboratories reveal a 50% - 53% content of lauric acid. The fresh coconut meat is shredded (wet milled ), and then cold-pressed to make coconut milk. The milk is then fermented for 24-36 hours, and the oil is then separated and filtered from the curds. No chemical or high-heat treatment is used, and this oil contains no trans fatty acids . We do NOT mass produce this oil. It is made by families who are coconut farmers using old-fashioned traditional methods that have been used here for hundreds of years. " there's tons of info on this site (including recipes) plus they have an email group. -susan Irene Musiol wrote: > Have you tried their coconut oil? It grows well in Southern California. The fruit is high in vitamin C. -=mark=-

I was so glad to find your group because it really puts all of the nutritional information I've already learned into perspective for someone with candida overgrowth. I have been trying to catch up on all of your fascinating articles since Monday. ==>Wonderful Chanon! > > I'm trying to get my supplements ready to go so I can start the diet. In the past I used Acerola powder by NOW to get my daily dosage of Vitamin C...is this okay or does it need to be regular Vitamin C? It has bioflavinoids and rutin, but not rose hips. If not, could you recommend a brand that you use? ==>Acerola powder is from fruit so it's not the best form for candida sufferers. Essential Supplements listed in my article specify the vitamin C to get, which is a tablet that contains ascorbic acid, rutin, hesperidin, rose hips and bioflavoinoids - take 1,000 mg per day, plus 3,000 mgs of sodium ascorbate, which is ascorbic acid crystals mixed with baking soda (see recipe in the Vitamin C folder or my article). I use Natural Factors tablets and Natural Factors ascorbic acid crystals. > I'm sure I will have many more questions in the coming weeks! So happy to have found this group! ==>Wonderful - we look forward to hearing from you Chanon! Keep us posted on your progress too. Cheers, Bee
