Guest guest
Well, the neck pain I was having was getting better until Friday. We were stopped at a red light and without any warning we were rear ended! No skidding, nothing, just hit. The girls were very nice and admitted fault (the driver said she was reading directions when she hit us). Problem is.now my neck REALLY hurts. I went to a walk-in clinic and the doc said I got a bad case of whiplash with possibly a slipped disc. Monday I go back to my chiropractor and we start over again with x-rays. I got a muscle relaxer (flexaril) and a pain med (Darvocet) from my regular doc before the accident. Now I'm still on the Flexaril, and instead of the Darvocet I'm on Percocet, and prednisone. I began to feel dizzy and nauseous within a few minutes of the accident and have had pain down my left arm and occasional tingly feeling in my left hand. If I do have a slipped disc, what do they do for that? The clinic doc said if I get numbness and more tingly feeling in my hand, I will need an MRI. She really was thorough and never hesitated to suggest the MRI. Why can't more docs be like her???
