Guest guest
Does anyone use the jet stream oven mentioned in the back of Nourishing Traditions? The only one I can find online is 1500 which has no temperature adjustment; it is always 350 degrees. Would this work for warming foods? I am looking for something to be used in place of a microwave for this purpose. Thank you, Joy
Guest guest
You can get a fairly inexpensive Jet Stream Oven on eBay.com (around $50.00) http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult & query=jet+str\ eam+oven & ht=1 & itemtimedisp=0 & st=2 & SortProperty=MetaEndSort & BasicSearch=. All of the Jet Streams I have seen are ovens, they have temperature gages and timers. I have a portable convection oven like the portable Jet Stream (round), and it is wonderful. The only difference between my portable convection oven and the portable JetStream is the name. So if you don't care about the name, you can also look in most stores that carry kitchen goods such as microwave ovens. Hope this helps!
