I prefer to make homemade butter (very easy to do) out of the raw cream where

I get my raw milk, but they've been out of cream the last couple weeks

whenever I've gone (and I have to go out of state), so I bought butter when I

ran out. At B & C I've been getting Organic Valley cultured butter. Being

cultured, I'm sure it's better for you, but it also makes it softer and more

spreadable (it's stick form), and gives it a slight flavor that makes the

unsalted as good as the salted.

I've got the same cod liver oil you have, and I bought it just cause I got

the first one I picked up. What is bad about it? The flavor? The

emulsification? I'm indifferent to the flavor so would like to get the best

stuff.

" What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a

heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and

animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of

them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense

compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to

bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature.

Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the

truth, and for those who do them wrong. "

Then CLO at http://www.4radiantlife.com would probably be the best for you as

it's said to be twice nutrient dense as others.

Is there any advantage to taking the high-vitamin CLO over, say, a dose

twice as large of a CLO with half the nutrient density?

Yes there is all the reason to get the more nutrient dense version.

Because you are taking less of it your body uses less nutrients to

digest it compared to takeing twice as much of the other.

So you get more for less burden on the system

Sure: less PUFA consumption. We need omega 3 fats, but not too much of

them, and it's actually pretty easy to get too much. By contrast, it would

be difficult to overdose on fat-soluble vitamins from food, especially in

today's depleted world.
