Guest guest
I was about to post a similar question to the group. I wanted to search something on Google this morning and received an " error message " stating that my request sounded like a computer virus (my computer is virus-free)and that I could only continue searching if I typed in the letters printed in the window. There is another search engine we could use www.live.com Ingrid Which Search engines do you guys use? Dogpile combines all major search engines. After giving you its own hits, it gives you more hits and tells you -- found on ... found on Alta Vista, found on Google, etc. I have tried most search engines but have always, somewhat contritely, come back to Dogpile. Lets you search your whole computer or browse and zoom in on just one folder. Go, try it. You won't be sorry. You'll find it most user-friendly, thoughtful, helpful. I have my browser -- none other than FIREFOX -- set so that dogpile comes on automatically if I don't do something else. I hate the Internet Explorer. Before the the FOX, I used Netscape. <dogpile.com> Vehementior@... alias Bud Kesler PS: Have wondered what secret sources of strength some of the people on this list draw to be posting as voluminously as they do....
