Hi Debbie,

yes, sweetie, I am having those gorgeous storms roll in each day and I do love

the sound of thunder, the moss heavy ,dripping in the solemn oaks,

frogs croaking under an umbrella of fronds, sticky breezes.

It is the early days of summer and I am bronze from sitting in the sun-- it

warms my pain. I used to have a home in Cayman and I would go down to the shore

line and sit and watch the waves roll in, a red rubber raft to take

me out to the edge of the coral heads. Those were my youth-days, no pain.

I don't get on the computer when it gets stormy: I lost my computer years ago to

a lighting strike and had to have it all replaced--( thank goodness I had home

owners insurance). In those days( 1992) there was no flash drive to back up your

work and it was a shame for me to have to try and replace a year of conference

work and writing.

Have a good day Debbie. Attached is an example of my landscape poetry that was

published in a literary journal a few years ago..

Annie and ,

You are both so right! I love the way Annie writes too, and Ciny...

I couldn't spell it either!!! LOL!! What is a " landscape " poet?

Am I

thinking this one too hard or is this writing about nature?

It's so nice to hear other peoples experiences and to know that

through all our suffering that we can still keep the faith going!

Annie, I've been meaning to ask you, are you having these terrible

storms every day by you too? I would have asked you sooner but they

keep knocking out my DSL! It's aggrivating!

If so, is this also effecting the way you're feeling? As these

storms are rolling in, I am feeling so much more pressure and an

increased pain level. Not getting much done here at all! It seems

the before storm pain/pressure is lasting forever and the after

storm relief is non existant.

Thank you all for being my reminders to be thankful for what I

have...even the pain, as it has brought me closer to God too.

I realize that in the bigger picture of life that this is what was

meant to be for me, and it did make me stronger...although my body

is weaker.

Keep it up sisters!

Love and Blessings!
