Wow, what an amazing site that would be. If all sides engaged in class

action law suits, it would probably bring a lot of national attention to the

issue, and the evidence would finally be settled once and for all by federal

or state juridical evidence standards, in the national spotlight. ! :D

That'd be the day...

" What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a

heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and

animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of

them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense

compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to

bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature.

Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the

truth, and for those who do them wrong. "

But we also have docs saying that the " low fat/High carb " paradigm is causing

DEATHS. So we'll have dueling lawsuits: suing the high fat people, and

suing the

low fat people. That would be interesting ...

Sorry I missed that one. I make my dogs food and saw how much healthier they

were. The I started investigating and found NT. I gave some home made dog food

to a fellow with a new pup. He offered it a bowl of kibble and my food (roughly

60% meat 40% vegetables) and the dog sniffed the kibble ate my food and walked

away.

My dogs pull and eat tomatoes off the vine, will eat apples and pears off the

ground when we go through an orchard, destroyed the okra plant (good dogs!) and

go nuts over fresh grapes, raisins and peanuts, or trail mix in general. Dogs

are scavengers, after all, but they are less at home with a vegetarian diet than

we are. Total meat consumption for my pack is around 80%.

Don't forget the observation of cannibalism (and murder) among chimps!

My neice's new and very expensive dog gets and eats steamed broccoli every

day - along with some special dog food.

People Eating Tasty Animals.

Sorry, actually it stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of

Animals. Sounds great in theory, but in fact it's a thoroughly disgusting

organization. They're against pet ownership, meat eating, animal

husbandry, etc. etc. etc. They want us all to wear plastic shoes without a

scrap of leather in them, for example, with no regard to what increased

plastic consumption would do to the environment -- and therefore to

animals. I often wonder whether the organization isn't in some way a sham

propped up by commercial interests who would gain if their policies were

implemented, but that's just blind speculation.

Thanks, . I should have remembered. Considering the shenanigans that go

on you may well be correct about what's behind the org.

Well, while we're talking about PETA's crazy antics, sometime last year or a

couple years ago, I forget, PETA wrote to McVeigh and asked him to

make his last days meaningful by ceasing to eat meat. He wrote back to them

and told them, sorry, but I'm too close to death to care, adding, 'but you

might want to try the Unabomber' and gave him his address! That was a laugh

too ;-P
