Guest guest
I had an idea about the Price Factor, not knowing nearly as much about biochemistry as most of you (I'm a history major), which I know realize is utterly inferior to the theory now floating around. BUT, I'm going to share it anyway, just out of the curiostiy of anyone's experience with shark liver oil. I was wondering, since milk, I believe contains alkyl-glycerols, and shark liver oil from greenland and emoptherus sharks is loaded with AKGs, and since shark liver oil from these two sharks is a golden yellow color, if there could be any connection between this and the AKG content of cow milk. Ok, probably not, but I read a book about shark liver oil, and it has been shown apparently to have amazing effects on numerous diseases from allergies to cancer and AIDS. Personally, I took it one year a few years ago, before allergy season, and right through the summer, when I usually have terrible allergies, and I was exposed to much higher amounts of pollen than usual that year, and I hardly had any allergic symptoms whatsoever. And, another success story, I cut out sugar, mostly cut out white flour, mostly cut out coffee, and started drinking lots of raw milk, for the sake of my tooth decay problem, and accidentally eliminated my allergies this year, which were really kicking for a couple weeks until I made this change. In any case, has anyone heard of this shark liver oil or have any experiences with it? chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature. Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the truth, and for those who do them wrong. They got theirs from the emoptherus shark off the coast of Austrailia, which they apparently had exclusive rights to, somehow, which had higher AKG levels than the Greenland Shark, which is the other main source of shark liver oil. I think the capsules may still be for sale by someone associated with Equinox who restructured that _section_ of the company and called it something else. If I find out I'll let you know. chris ____ " What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? Guest guest
I've know of two people who have used shark liver oil who claim that it helped boost their platelet counts. (These are people with blood disorders that needed higher platelets.) And also two other people with the same blood conditions that didn't get any benefits. I was told that they got their shark liver oil from http://www.bullivants.com.au/proddata/Natural_Nutrition/Sort_by_Name_nn/sort _by_name_nn.html I don't know why two out of the four had good results. I did not try it personally.
