The June, 2002 Cereal Foods World, a publication of the American

Association of Cereal Chemists has the results of research conducted

by E. Painter and Valentin I. Prisecaru entitled, The Effects

of Various Protein and Carbohydrate Ingredients in Energy Bars on

Blood Glucose Levels in Humans. AACC's @ www.aaccnet.org. Thought

Apparently the research paper is not available on the computer.

The web site does have addresses of the authors for reprints .Sorry

for the inconvenience. Their references are as interesting as the

article. I suppose I could send you a photocopy if you like. Dennis
