Guest guest
I use freshly ground flax, kefir to ferment, then add variations for different flavors. Some variations are Celtic Sea Salt, garlic, nutritional yeast, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, or nuts... OR for a sweet flavor either honey or Stevia, fruit can be added. *Freshly grind all seeds. Use only raw nuts that have been soaked over night. Add all your ingredients and stir (I make in little canning jars), put it in the refrigerator and it is ready in about 6 hours. I usually make one in the morning, eat the one I made the day before, and I am ready for the next day. Or you could make it the night before. This is fresh, easy to make, and most people really like it! I did not realize it had soy in it. The ingredients are cold-milled flax seed, fermented soy Meal, zinc sulfate , etc. I though this was a good substitute for Metamucil, but I was not sure about the soy. It is fermented. What do others use who need something like Metamucil? Thanks. Carol
