I would like to be the first to volunteer to help put this type of information together. I am good at designing things and I would love to help in that fashion. If we can get enough of the " regulars " to help with the information we should put on this pamphlet I'll get to work on it. It's basically what I do at work all day! I know there is a lot of information/websites that could be given out so that would be something to get together. I also agree with the uniform statement, i.e. a mission statement. Perhaps we could have a contest for a unified statement and perhaps even a contest for a logo? I don't know I am just throwing out ideas. Let me know if I can help, I'd love to. The town I am in is too close to the base so I really couldn't organize the parade idea, but I sure would love to see that! I am sure she would love to help organize a rally in our home state of Montana. I will send you her email address. I wish I could be an active participant however, I am still on active duty and I need to be very careful what I say and especially where I say it. My mom on the otherhand is very outspoken and rallies for veterans of all ages. She is a Vietnam Vet and has worked for the VA for over 12 years...could put some of her knowledge to work on this rally! I really appreciate what you are doing and those who are helping you...incidentally, you are NOT " just a mom, " you are a wonderful mother who will go to the ends of the earth to protect your children...What a fantastic role model for us young moms! My Labrador retriever delivered 8 puppies on Monday. I have missed several days of work and e-mail to catch up with. By postponing the rally will be less pressure on all those who have wanted to help but have had other pressing commitments. This way when it comes about, it will be organized. Keep up the good work. My ankle is much better, BUT NOW where it is healing I can feel scar tissue tightening everything up... its still a mess in that aspect. Very Tight and not flexing well, I know what I have to do for PT, but... OUCH.... PT often hurts worse than the injury right? I took Gavin for a trip to Wal-Mart the other day and after 3 hours of out and about walking, my ankle was done for the day. So I may be really pushing my luck to spend an entire day on it...
