Guest guest
Hi All: My middle son used to have frequent bloody noses a few years ago. Our family turned to veganism for two years and during that time he no longer had nose bleeds. But, this year we have returned to eating meats again, we started with fish, then chicken, then lamb, now beef. This week and last week he's been getting nose bleeds again. Anyone have this experience? I was wondering if eating too much beef has anything to do with it? I've never heard of that, but that's all I can think of that we're doing differently. We've been increasing his beef intake more recently. (I know it's hot, but I have been experimenting with beef stews. He was doing fine with chicken and fish stews.) We only eat New Zealand beef and lamb, natural or organic chicken, wild caught fish, and all organic fruits and vegetables. Even our grain is whole and all organic. I do soak them before cooking. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance, Marla
Guest guest
Hello Marla, My son also had nose problems, Vit C was what stopped all his problems, it strengthens the vein walls. I had to try several types (tolerance problems) but it worked.-ine in WA -----Original Message----- From: Marla [mailto:talithakumi@...] Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2002 8:38 AM Subject: Question about nose bleeds. Guest guest
Hi ine: Thanks for that tip. I'll increase his vitamin C intake. That makes a lot of sense to strengthen the vein walls!
