I decided to do the same, at least for now. I am in the midst of trying to heal my thyroid and decided that it's not even worth the risk of eating these foods (cruciferous vegetables), even though they are supposed to be okay if cooked or fermented. The other ones I stay away from completely. I haven't read anything yet that mentions that cooking or fermenting them, except maybe the soy (?), gets rid of the thyroid suppressing component of the food. Canola is not even a temptation. Still, I'm not taking a risk with any of these foods. Peace and Love of Christ be with you, Robin
