This may program a fetus or child for breast orprostate cancer, may set them up for premature female puberty, and maylead to attention deficit disorders and other reproductive orneurological disorders.This report reviewed about 500 laboratory animal experiments andconcluded that there was "some concern" that fetuses, babies andchildren were at risk from BPA. It gave the rating "negligible" forconcern for adults.Not surprisingly, the plastics industry focused on the fact that thestudy found "no serious or high-level concerns." They charge that thelab animal experiments are inconclusive and flawed. They went on tostate that the limited evidence for effects in laboratory animals atlow doses highlights opportunities for additional research to furtherunderstand whether these findings are significant to human health.The advisory panel initially found "minimal" concern about the effectson the prostate and puberty after ruling with the plastics industry.They disqualified many animal studies that showed adverse effects.This drew criticism from the scientists who conducted the research.In the new report, however, the National Toxicology Program overruledits panel. They elevated their findings about human prostates andpuberty to the level of "some concern." They also expressed concernabout effects on human mammary glands which had not been previouslyaddressed.These findings reflect a significant scientific conclusion showingthat BPA may play a larger role than previously thought in a varietyof common health problems, including prostate cancer, breast cancerand early puberty.Canada is expected to declare BPA a toxic substance in the very nearfuture. This would be followed by proposals to control its use.California and other states are considering bans on BPA products.The National Institute is the first government agency to conclude thatlow levels of BPA could be harming humans. They obviously conductedthis research because concern already existed. It was sponsored by theHaywood Foundation which itself was looking for evidence that suchchanges in the human immune system might also be vaccine induced. Itfound the evidence.The vaccinated, but not the non-vaccinated, dogs in the Purduestudies developed autoantibodies to many of their own biochemicals,including fibronectin, laminin, DNA, albumin, cytochrome C,cardiolipin and collagen.This means that the vaccinated dogs -- "but not the non-vaccinateddogs"-- were attacking their own fibronectin, which is involved intissue repair, cell multiplication and growth, and differentiationbetween tissues and organs in a living organism.The vaccinated Purdue dogs also developed autoantibodies tolaminin, which is involved in many cellular activities including theadhesion, spreading, differentiation, proliferation and movement ofcells. Vaccines thus appear to be capable of removing the naturalintelligence of cells.Autoantibodies to cardiolipin are frequently found in patientswith the serious disease systemic lupus erythematosus and also inindividuals with other autoimmune diseases. The presence of elevatedanti-cardiolipin antibodies is significantly associated with clotswithin the heart or blood vessels, in poor blood clotting,haemorrhage, bleeding into the skin, foetal loss and neurologicalconditions.The Purdue studies also found that vaccinated dogs were developingautoantibodies to their own collagen. About one quarter of all theprotein in the body is collagen. Collagen provides structure to ourbodies, protecting and supporting the softer tissues and connectingthem with the skeleton. It is no wonder that Canine Health Concern's1997 study of 4,000 dogs showed a high number of dogs developingmobility problems shortly after they were vaccinated (noted in my 1997book, What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines).Perhaps most worryingly, the Purdue studies found that thevaccinated dogs had developed autoantibodies to their own DNA. Did thealarm bells sound? Did the scientific community call a halt to thevaccination program? No. Instead, they stuck their fingers in the air,saying more research is needed to ascertain whether vaccines can causegenetic damage. Meanwhile, the study dogs were found good homes, butno long-term follow-up has been conducted. At around the same time,the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Vaccine-AssociatedFeline Sarcoma Task Force initiated several studies to find out why160,000 cats each year in the USA develop terminal cancer at theirvaccine injection sites.(3) The fact that cats can get vaccine-inducedcancer has been acknowledged by veterinary bodies around the world,and even the British Government acknowledged it through its WorkingGroup charged with the task of looking into canine and felinevaccines(4) following pressure from Canine Health Concern. What do youimagine was the advice of the AVMA Task Force, veterinary bodies andgovernments? "Carry on vaccinating untilwe find out why vaccines are killing cats, and which cats are mostlikely to die."In America, in an attempt to mitigate the problem, they'revaccinating cats in the tail or leg so they can amputate when cancerappears. Great advice if it's not your cat amongst the hundreds ofthousands on the "oops" list.But other species are okay - right? Wrong. In August 2003, theJournal of Veterinary Medicine carried an Italian study which showedthat dogs also develop vaccine-induced cancers at their injectionsites.(5) We already know that vaccine-site cancer is a possiblesequel to human vaccines, too, since the Salk polio vaccine was saidto carry a monkey retrovirus (from cultivating the vaccine on monkeyorgans) that produces inheritable cancer. The monkey retrovirus SV40keeps turning up in human cancer sites.It is also widely acknowledged that vaccines can cause afast-acting, usually fatal, disease called autoimmune haemolyticanaemia (AIHA). Without treatment, and frequently with treatment,individuals can die in agony within a matter of days. Merck, itself amultinational vaccine manufacturer, states in The Merck Manual ofDiagnosis and Therapy that autoimmune haemolytic anaemia may be causedby modified live-virus vaccines, as do Tizard's Veterinary Immunology(4th edition) and the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine.(6) TheBritish Government's Working Group, despite being staffed byvaccine-industry consultants who say they are independent, alsoacknowledged this fact. However, no one warns the pet owners beforetheir animals are subjected to an unnecessary booster, and very fewowners are told why after their pets die of AIHA.A Wide Range of Vaccine-induced DiseasesWe also found some worrying correlations between vaccine eventsand the onset of arthritis in our 1997 survey. Our concerns werecompounded by research in the human field.The New England Journal of Medicine, for example, reported that itis possible to isolate the rubella virus from affected joints inchildren vaccinated against rubella. It also told of the isolation ofviruses from the peripheral blood of women with prolonged arthritisfollowing vaccination.(7)Then, in 2000, CHC's findings were confirmed by research whichshowed that polyarthritis and other diseases like amyloidosis, whichaffects organs in dogs, were linked to the combined vaccine given todogs.(8) There is a huge body of research, despite the paucity offunding from the vaccine industry, to confirm that vaccines can causea wide range of brain and central nervous system damage. Merck itselfstates in its Manual that vaccines (i.e., its own products) can causeencephalitis: brain inflammation/damage. In some cases, encephalitisinvolves lesions in the brain and throughout the central nervoussystem. Merck states that "examples are the encephalitides followingmeasles, chickenpox, rubella, smallpox vaccination, vaccinia, and manyother less well defined viral infections".When the dog owners who took part in the CHC survey reported thattheir dogs developed short attention spans, 73.1% of the dogs did sowithin three months of a vaccine event. The same percentage of dogswas diagnosed with epilepsy within three months of a shot (but usuallywithin days). We also found that 72.5% of dogs that were considered bytheir owners to be nervous and of a worrying disposition, firstexhibited these traits within the three-month post-vaccination period.I would like to add for the sake of Oliver, my friend who sufferedfrom paralysed rear legs and death shortly after a vaccine shot, that"paresis" is listed in Merck's Manual as a symptom of encephalitis.This is defined as muscular weakness of a neural (brain) origin whichinvolves partial or incomplete paralysis, resulting from lesions atany level of the descending pathway from the brain. Hind limbparalysis is one of the potential consequences. Encephalitis,incidentally, is a disease that can manifest across the scale frommild to severe and can also cause sudden death.Organ failure must also be suspected when it occurs shortly aftera vaccine event. Dr Larry Glickman, who spearheaded the Purdueresearch into post-vaccination biochemical changes in dogs, wrote in aletter to Cavalier Spaniel breeder Bet Hargreaves:"Our ongoing studies of dogs show that following routinevaccination, there is a significant rise in the level of antibodiesdogs produce against their own tissues. Some of these antibodies havebeen shown to target the thyroid gland, connective tissue such as thatfound in the valves of the heart, red blood cells, DNA, etc. I dobelieve that the heart conditions in Cavalier King Spanielscould be the end result of repeated immunisations by vaccinescontaining tissue culture contaminants that cause a progressive immuneresponse directed at connective tissue in the heart valves. Theclinical manifestations would be more pronounced in dogs that have agenetic predisposition [although] the findings should be generallyapplicable to all dogs regardless of their breed."I must mention here that Dr Glickman believes that vaccines are anecessary evil, but that safer vaccines need to be developed.Meanwhile, please join the queue to place your dog, cat, horse andchild on the Russian roulette wheel because a scientist says you should.Vaccines Stimulate an Inflammatory ResponseThe word "allergy" is synonymous with "sensitivity" and"inflammation". It should, by rights, also be synonymous with the word"vaccination". This is what vaccines do: they sensitise (renderallergic)an individual in the process of forcing them to developantibodies to fight a disease threat. In other words, as isacknowledged and accepted, as part of the vaccine process the bodywill respond with inflammation. This may be apparently temporary or itmay be longstanding.Holistic doctors and veterinarians have known this for at least100 years.They talk about a wide range of inflammatory or "-itis" diseaseswhich arise shortly after a vaccine event. Vaccines, in fact, plungemany individuals into an allergic state. Again, this is a disorderthat ranges from mild all the way through to the suddenly fatal.Anaphylactic shock is the culmination: it's where an individual has amassive allergic reaction to a vaccine and will die within minutes ifadrenaline or its equivalent is not administered.There are some individuals who are genetically not well placed towithstand the vaccine challenge. These are the people (and animals are"people", too) who have inherited faulty B and T cell function. B andT cells are components within the immune system which identify foreigninvaders and destroy them, and hold the invader in memory so that theycannot cause future harm. However, where inflammatory responses areconcerned, the immune system overreacts and causes unwanted effectssuch as allergies and other inflammatory conditions.Merck warns in its Manual that patients with, or from familieswith, B and/or T cell immunodeficiencies should not receive live-virusvaccines due to the risk of severe or fatal infection. Elsewhere, itlists features of B and T cell immunodeficiencies as food allergies,inhalant allergies, eczema, dermatitis, neurological deterioration andheart disease. To translate, people with these conditions can die ifthey receive live-virus vaccines. Their immune systems are simply notcompetent enough to guarantee a healthy reaction to the viral assaultfrom modified live-virus vaccines.Modified live-virus (MLV) vaccines replicate in the patient untilan immune response is provoked. If a defence isn't stimulated, thenthe vaccine continues to replicate until it gives the patient the verydisease it was intending to prevent.Alternatively, a deranged immune response will lead toinflammatory conditions such as arthritis, pancreatitis, colitis,encephalitis and any number of autoimmune diseases such as cancer andleukaemia, where the body attacks its own cells.A new theory, stumbled upon by Open University student ,explains what holistic practitioners have been saying for a very longtime. Here is what a few of the holistic vets have said in relation totheir patients:Dr Dodds: "Many veterinarians trace the present problems withallergic and immunologic diseases to the introduction of MLVvaccines..." (9) Chambreau, DVM: "Routine vaccinations are probably theworst thing that we do for our animals. They cause all types ofillnesses, but not directly to where we would relate them definitelyto be caused by the vaccine." (10) Goldstein, DVM: "I think that vaccines...are leadingkillers of dogs and cats in America today."Dr E. Loops, DVM: "Homoeopathic veterinarians and otherholistic practitioners have maintained for some time that vaccinationsdo more harm than they provide benefits." (12)Mike Kohn, DVM: "In response to this [vaccine] violation, therehave been increased autoimmune diseases (allergies being onecomponent), epilepsy, neoplasia [tumours], as well as behaviouralproblems in small animals." (13)A Theory on Inflammation explains what observant healthcare practitioners havebeen saying for a very long time, but perhaps they've not understoodwhy their observations led them to say it. His theory, incidentally,is causing a huge stir within the inner scientific sanctum. Somebelieve that his theory could lead to a cure for many diseasesincluding cancer. For me, it explains why the vaccine process isinherently questionable. was learning about inflammation as part of his studies whenhe struck upon a theory so extraordinary that it could haveimplications for the treatment of almost every inflammatory disease --including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, rheumatoid arthritis and even HIVand AIDS.'s theory questions the received wisdom that when a persongets ill, the inflammation that occurs around the infected area helpsit to heal. He claims that, in reality, inflammation prevents the bodyfrom recognising a foreign substance and therefore serves as a hidingplace for invaders. The inflammation occurs when at-risk cells producereceptors called All (known as angiotensin II type I receptors). Hesays that while At1 has a balancing receptor, At2, which is supposedto switch off the inflammation, in most diseases this does not happen."Cancer has been described as the wound that never heals," hesays. "All successful cancers are surrounded by inflammation. Commonlythis is thought to be the body's reaction to try to fight the cancer,but this is not the case."The inflammation is not the body trying to fight the infection.It is actually the virus or bacteria deliberately causing inflammationin order to hide from the immune system [author's emphasis]." (14)If is right, then the inflammatory process so commonlystimulated by vaccines is not, as hitherto assumed, a necessarilyacceptable sign. Instead, it could be a sign that the viral orbacterial component, or the adjuvant (which, containing foreignprotein, is seen as an invader by the immune system), in the vaccineis winning by stealth.If is correct in believing that the inflammatory response isnot protective but a sign that invasion is taking place under cover ofdarkness, vaccines are certainly not the friends we thought they were.They are undercover assassins working on behalf of the enemy, and vetsand medical doctors are unwittingly acting as collaborators. Worse, weanimal guardians and parents are actually paying doctors and vets tounwittingly betray our loved ones.Potentially, vaccines are the stealth bomb of the medical world.They are used to catapult invaders inside the castle walls where theycan wreak havoc, with none of us any the wiser. So rather thanexperiencing frank viral diseases such as the 'flu, measles, mumps andrubella (and, in the case of dogs, parvovirus and distemper), we areallowing the viruses to win anyway - but with cancer, leukaemia andother inflammatory or autoimmune (self-attacking) diseases takingtheir place.The Final InsultAll 27 veterinary schools in North America have changed theirprotocols for vaccinating dogs and cats along the following lines;(15) however, vets in practice are reluctant to listen to thesechanged protocols and official veterinary bodies in the UK and othercountries are ignoring the following facts.Dogs' and cats' immune systems mature fully at six months. Ifmodified live-virus vaccine is giver after six months of age, itproduces immunity, which is good for the life of the pet. If anotherMLV vaccine is given a year later, the antibodies from the firstvaccine neutralise the antigens of the second vaccine and there islittle or no effect. The titre is not "boosted", nor are more memorycells induced.Not only are annual boosters unnecessary, but they subject the petto potential risks such as allergic reactions and immune-mediatedhaemolytic anaemia.In plain language, veterinary schools in America, plus theAmerican Veterinary Medical Association, have looked at studies toshow how long vaccines last and they have concluded and announced thatannual vaccination is unnecessary.(16-19)Further, they have acknowledged that vaccines are not withoutharm. Dr Ron Schultz, head of pathobiology at Wisconsin University anda leading light in this field, has been saying this politely to hisveterinary colleagues since the 1980s. I've been saying it for thepast 12 years. But change is so long in coming and, in the meantime,hundreds of thousands of animals are dying every year - unnecessarily.The good news is that thousands of animal lovers (but not enough)have heard what we've been saying. Canine Health Concern membersaround the world use real food as Nature's supreme diseasepreventative, eschewing processed pet food, and minimise the vaccinerisk. Some of us, myself included, have chosen not to vaccinate ourpets at all. Our reward is healthy and long-lived dogs.It has taken but one paragraph to tell you the good and simplenews. He called it "Fascism." Remember that Fascismhad nothing to do with oppressing Jews. Get out the horse whips! Again, pleaseunderstand that I am not suggesting you stop eating dairy and meat. Iam not a doctor and don't know whether you should do that. As always,I am arguing in favor of your right to get the medical treatment youwant, be it vegetarianism or something else. In general,combinations of chemical additives seem to have a much more potenteffect on nerve cells than each chemical would have alone.For example, neurotoxic effects were studied for combinations of fourcommon additives: Brilliant Blue with MSG and Quinoline Yellow withaspartame. These mixtures were much more lethal on nerve cells thaneach additive alone. The effect of Brilliant Blue and MSG was up tofour times higher and Quinoline Yellow and aspartame was up to seventimes higher.The studies were conducted under laboratory conditions and theadditives were mixed in concentrations to duplicate the compound thatwould enter the bloodstream after a typical children's snack and drink.The study showed that when nerve cells were exposed to thesecombinations of additives, the additives actually halted the nervecells from their normal growth and further interfered with the propersignaling systems.These chemical additives (whether alone or mixed with others) carrythe most risk for infants and children. Young children are the mostvulnerable to chemicals that are carcinogens. This is because of theirlimited ability to detoxify because of the way their liver functionsduring infancy. In addition, their small size further provokes toxicity.Infants and young children have higher nutritional requirements thanolder people. Their smaller body mass as well as the fact that theirdiet has less variety also contributes to their increasedsusceptibility to toxic reactions.There are other factors that further increase the susceptibility ofinfants and young children to toxic additives. Most of these arerecognized by health and science industries but are not consideredwhen determining ADI levels for chemical additives. At this time thereis no testing for effects of additives on children's behavior or learning.Obviously, this is one of those many situations where concernedparents need to be aware of the effects that chemical additives may behaving on their children and caution needs to be applied to protectvulnerable youngsters from these poisons. They elevated their findings about human prostates andpuberty to the level of "some concern." Itfound the evidence.The vaccinated, but not the non-vaccinated, dogs in the Purduestudies developed autoantibodies to many of their own biochemicals,including fibronectin, laminin, DNA, albumin, cytochrome C,cardiolipin and collagen.This means that the vaccinated dogs -- "but not the non-vaccinateddogs"-- were attacking their own fibronectin, which is involved intissue repair, cell multiplication and growth, and differentiationbetween tissues and organs in a living organism.The vaccinated Purdue dogs also developed autoantibodies tolaminin, which is involved in many cellular activities including theadhesion, spreading, differentiation, proliferation and movement ofcells. Vaccines thus appear to be capable of removing the naturalintelligence of cells.Autoantibodies to cardiolipin are frequently found in patientswith the serious disease systemic lupus erythematosus and also inindividuals with other autoimmune diseases. The presence of elevatedanti-cardiolipin antibodies is significantly associated with clotswithin the heart or blood vessels, in poor blood clotting,haemorrhage, bleeding into the skin, foetal loss and neurologicalconditions.The Purdue studies also found that vaccinated dogs were developingautoantibodies to their own collagen. About one quarter of all theprotein in the body is collagen. Collagen provides structure to ourbodies, protecting and supporting the softer tissues and connectingthem with the skeleton. It is no wonder that Canine Health Concern's1997 study of 4,000 dogs showed a high number of dogs developingmobility problems shortly after they were vaccinated (noted in my 1997book, What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines).Perhaps most worryingly, the Purdue studies found that thevaccinated dogs had developed autoantibodies to their own DNA. Did thealarm bells sound? Did the scientific community call a halt to thevaccination program? No. Instead, they stuck their fingers in the air,saying more research is needed to ascertain whether vaccines can causegenetic damage. Meanwhile, the study dogs were found good homes, butno long-term follow-up has been conducted. At around the same time,the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Vaccine-AssociatedFeline Sarcoma Task Force initiated several studies to find out why160,000 cats each year in the USA develop terminal cancer at theirvaccine injection sites.(3) The fact that cats can get vaccine-inducedcancer has been acknowledged by veterinary bodies around the world,and even the British Government acknowledged it through its WorkingGroup charged with the task of looking into canine and felinevaccines(4) following pressure from Canine Health Concern. What do youimagine was the advice of the AVMA Task Force, veterinary bodies andgovernments? "Carry on vaccinating untilwe find out why vaccines are killing cats, and which cats are mostlikely to die."In America, in an attempt to mitigate the problem, they'revaccinating cats in the tail or leg so they can amputate when cancerappears. Great advice if it's not your cat amongst the hundreds ofthousands on the "oops" list.But other species are okay - right? Wrong. In August 2003, theJournal of Veterinary Medicine carried an Italian study which showedthat dogs also develop vaccine-induced cancers at their injectionsites.(5) We already know that vaccine-site cancer is a possiblesequel to human vaccines, too, since the Salk polio vaccine was saidto carry a monkey retrovirus (from cultivating the vaccine on monkeyorgans) that produces inheritable cancer. The monkey retrovirus SV40keeps turning up in human cancer sites.It is also widely acknowledged that vaccines can cause afast-acting, usually fatal, disease called autoimmune haemolyticanaemia (AIHA). Without treatment, and frequently with treatment,individuals can die in agony within a matter of days. Merck, itself amultinational vaccine manufacturer, states in The Merck Manual ofDiagnosis and Therapy that autoimmune haemolytic anaemia may be causedby modified live-virus vaccines, as do Tizard's Veterinary Immunology(4th edition) and the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine.(6) TheBritish Government's Working Group, despite being staffed byvaccine-industry consultants who say they are independent, alsoacknowledged this fact. However, no one warns the pet owners beforetheir animals are subjected to an unnecessary booster, and very fewowners are told why after their pets die of AIHA.A Wide Range of Vaccine-induced DiseasesWe also found some worrying correlations between vaccine eventsand the onset of arthritis in our 1997 survey. Our concerns werecompounded by research in the human field.The New England Journal of Medicine, for example, reported that itis possible to isolate the rubella virus from affected joints inchildren vaccinated against rubella. It also told of the isolation ofviruses from the peripheral blood of women with prolonged arthritisfollowing vaccination.(7)Then, in 2000, CHC's findings were confirmed by research whichshowed that polyarthritis and other diseases like amyloidosis, whichaffects organs in dogs, were linked to the combined vaccine given todogs.(8) There is a huge body of research, despite the paucity offunding from the vaccine industry, to confirm that vaccines can causea wide range of brain and central nervous system damage. Merck itselfstates in its Manual that vaccines (i.e., its own products) can causeencephalitis: brain inflammation/damage. In some cases, encephalitisinvolves lesions in the brain and throughout the central nervoussystem. Merck states that "examples are the encephalitides followingmeasles, chickenpox, rubella, smallpox vaccination, vaccinia, and manyother less well defined viral infections".When the dog owners who took part in the CHC survey reported thattheir dogs developed short attention spans, 73.1% of the dogs did sowithin three months of a vaccine event. The same percentage of dogswas diagnosed with epilepsy within three months of a shot (but usuallywithin days). We also found that 72.5% of dogs that were considered bytheir owners to be nervous and of a worrying disposition, firstexhibited these traits within the three-month post-vaccination period.I would like to add for the sake of Oliver, my friend who sufferedfrom paralysed rear legs and death shortly after a vaccine shot, that"paresis" is listed in Merck's Manual as a symptom of encephalitis.This is defined as muscular weakness of a neural (brain) origin whichinvolves partial or incomplete paralysis, resulting from lesions atany level of the descending pathway from the brain. Hind limbparalysis is one of the potential consequences. Encephalitis,incidentally, is a disease that can manifest across the scale frommild to severe and can also cause sudden death.Organ failure must also be suspected when it occurs shortly aftera vaccine event. Dr Larry Glickman, who spearheaded the Purdueresearch into post-vaccination biochemical changes in dogs, wrote in aletter to Cavalier Spaniel breeder Bet Hargreaves:"Our ongoing studies of dogs show that following routinevaccination, there is a significant rise in the level of antibodiesdogs produce against their own tissues. Some of these antibodies havebeen shown to target the thyroid gland, connective tissue such as thatfound in the valves of the heart, red blood cells, DNA, etc. I dobelieve that the heart conditions in Cavalier King Spanielscould be the end result of repeated immunisations by vaccinescontaining tissue culture contaminants that cause a progressive immuneresponse directed at connective tissue in the heart valves. Theclinical manifestations would be more pronounced in dogs that have agenetic predisposition [although] the findings should be generallyapplicable to all dogs regardless of their breed."I must mention here that Dr Glickman believes that vaccines are anecessary evil, but that safer vaccines need to be developed.Meanwhile, please join the queue to place your dog, cat, horse andchild on the Russian roulette wheel because a scientist says you should.Vaccines Stimulate an Inflammatory ResponseThe word "allergy" is synonymous with "sensitivity" and"inflammation". It should, by rights, also be synonymous with the word"vaccination". This is what vaccines do: they sensitise (renderallergic)an individual in the process of forcing them to developantibodies to fight a disease threat. In other words, as isacknowledged and accepted, as part of the vaccine process the bodywill respond with inflammation. This may be apparently temporary or itmay be longstanding.Holistic doctors and veterinarians have known this for at least100 years.They talk about a wide range of inflammatory or "-itis" diseaseswhich arise shortly after a vaccine event. Vaccines, in fact, plungemany individuals into an allergic state. Again, this is a disorderthat ranges from mild all the way through to the suddenly fatal.Anaphylactic shock is the culmination: it's where an individual has amassive allergic reaction to a vaccine and will die within minutes ifadrenaline or its equivalent is not administered.There are some individuals who are genetically not well placed towithstand the vaccine challenge. These are the people (and animals are"people", too) who have inherited faulty B and T cell function. B andT cells are components within the immune system which identify foreigninvaders and destroy them, and hold the invader in memory so that theycannot cause future harm. However, where inflammatory responses areconcerned, the immune system overreacts and causes unwanted effectssuch as allergies and other inflammatory conditions.Merck warns in its Manual that patients with, or from familieswith, B and/or T cell immunodeficiencies should not receive live-virusvaccines due to the risk of severe or fatal infection. Elsewhere, itlists features of B and T cell immunodeficiencies as food allergies,inhalant allergies, eczema, dermatitis, neurological deterioration andheart disease. To translate, people with these conditions can die ifthey receive live-virus vaccines. Their immune systems are simply notcompetent enough to guarantee a healthy reaction to the viral assaultfrom modified live-virus vaccines.Modified live-virus (MLV) vaccines replicate in the patient untilan immune response is provoked. If a defence isn't stimulated, thenthe vaccine continues to replicate until it gives the patient the verydisease it was intending to prevent.Alternatively, a deranged immune response will lead toinflammatory conditions such as arthritis, pancreatitis, colitis,encephalitis and any number of autoimmune diseases such as cancer andleukaemia, where the body attacks its own cells.A new theory, stumbled upon by Open University student ,explains what holistic practitioners have been saying for a very longtime. Here is what a few of the holistic vets have said in relation totheir patients:Dr Dodds: "Many veterinarians trace the present problems withallergic and immunologic diseases to the introduction of MLVvaccines..." (9) Chambreau, DVM: "Routine vaccinations are probably theworst thing that we do for our animals. They cause all types ofillnesses, but not directly to where we would relate them definitelyto be caused by the vaccine." (10) Goldstein, DVM: "I think that vaccines...are leadingkillers of dogs and cats in America today."Dr E. Loops, DVM: "Homoeopathic veterinarians and otherholistic practitioners have maintained for some time that vaccinationsdo more harm than they provide benefits." (12)Mike Kohn, DVM: "In response to this [vaccine] violation, therehave been increased autoimmune diseases (allergies being onecomponent), epilepsy, neoplasia [tumours], as well as behaviouralproblems in small animals." (13)A Theory on Inflammation explains what observant healthcare practitioners havebeen saying for a very long time, but perhaps they've not understoodwhy their observations led them to say it. His theory, incidentally,is causing a huge stir within the inner scientific sanctum. Somebelieve that his theory could lead to a cure for many diseasesincluding cancer. For me, it explains why the vaccine process isinherently questionable. was learning about inflammation as part of his studies whenhe struck upon a theory so extraordinary that it could haveimplications for the treatment of almost every inflammatory disease --including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, rheumatoid arthritis and even HIVand AIDS.'s theory questions the received wisdom that when a persongets ill, the inflammation that occurs around the infected area helpsit to heal. He claims that, in reality, inflammation prevents the bodyfrom recognising a foreign substance and therefore serves as a hidingplace for invaders. The inflammation occurs when at-risk cells producereceptors called All (known as angiotensin II type I receptors). Hesays that while At1 has a balancing receptor, At2, which is supposedto switch off the inflammation, in most diseases this does not happen."Cancer has been described as the wound that never heals," hesays. "All successful cancers are surrounded by inflammation. Commonlythis is thought to be the body's reaction to try to fight the cancer,but this is not the case."The inflammation is not the body trying to fight the infection.It is actually the virus or bacteria deliberately causing inflammationin order to hide from the immune system [author's emphasis]." (14)If is right, then the inflammatory process so commonlystimulated by vaccines is not, as hitherto assumed, a necessarilyacceptable sign. Instead, it could be a sign that the viral orbacterial component, or the adjuvant (which, containing foreignprotein, is seen as an invader by the immune system), in the vaccineis winning by stealth.If is correct in believing that the inflammatory response isnot protective but a sign that invasion is taking place under cover ofdarkness, vaccines are certainly not the friends we thought they were.They are undercover assassins working on behalf of the enemy, and vetsand medical doctors are unwittingly acting as collaborators. Worse, weanimal guardians and parents are actually paying doctors and vets tounwittingly betray our loved ones.Potentially, vaccines are the stealth bomb of the medical world.They are used to catapult invaders inside the castle walls where theycan wreak havoc, with none of us any the wiser. So rather thanexperiencing frank viral diseases such as the 'flu, measles, mumps andrubella (and, in the case of dogs, parvovirus and distemper), we areallowing the viruses to win anyway - but with cancer, leukaemia andother inflammatory or autoimmune (self-attacking) diseases takingtheir place.The Final InsultAll 27 veterinary schools in North America have changed theirprotocols for vaccinating dogs and cats along the following lines;(15) however, vets in practice are reluctant to listen to thesechanged protocols and official veterinary bodies in the UK and othercountries are ignoring the following facts.Dogs' and cats' immune systems mature fully at six months. Ifmodified live-virus vaccine is giver after six months of age, itproduces immunity, which is good for the life of the pet. If anotherMLV vaccine is given a year later, the antibodies from the firstvaccine neutralise the antigens of the second vaccine and there islittle or no effect. The titre is not "boosted", nor are more memorycells induced.Not only are annual boosters unnecessary, but they subject the petto potential risks such as allergic reactions and immune-mediatedhaemolytic anaemia.In plain language, veterinary schools in America, plus theAmerican Veterinary Medical Association, have looked at studies toshow how long vaccines last and they have concluded and announced thatannual vaccination is unnecessary.(16-19)Further, they have acknowledged that vaccines are not withoutharm. Dr Ron Schultz, head of pathobiology at Wisconsin University anda leading light in this field, has been saying this politely to hisveterinary colleagues since the 1980s. I've been saying it for thepast 12 years. But change is so long in coming and, in the meantime,hundreds of thousands of animals are dying every year - unnecessarily.The good news is that thousands of animal lovers (but not enough)have heard what we've been saying. Canine Health Concern membersaround the world use real food as Nature's supreme diseasepreventative, eschewing processed pet food, and minimise the vaccinerisk. Some of us, myself included, have chosen not to vaccinate ourpets at all. Our reward is healthy and long-lived dogs.It has taken but one paragraph to tell you the good and simplenews. He called it "Fascism." Remember that Fascismhad nothing to do with oppressing Jews. Mussolini came to powerlegally in 1922, after the infamous March on Rome, when no one hadever heard of former Corporal Hitler. Hitler would not becomeChancellor, legally, for another eleven years, not until 1933. BothMussolini and Hitler were basically street thugs, but, again, theytook control of their governments legally, within the constitutionalframeworks of their respective countries.What was and is Fascism? Mussolini is the expert. Would you believehim? According to Mussolini, Fascism is an amalgamation of the monstercorporations and the government, which gives the former the force theyneed to impose their will and gives the latter the power they crave.Indeed, Mussolini's system also became known as "the corporate state."In the beginning, there was considerable admiration for Mussolini'ssystem in Washington, District of Corporatism. Yes, he was a thug,and, yes, his followers wore black shirts, but he certainly did "makethe trains run on time." Indeed, there was even some enthusiasm in theDistrict for Adolf's typical German efficiency at the very beginning,before the discovery of the Holocaust.There is considerable reluctance among patriots to call our present,perverted system "Fascism," because that is what the Communiststraditionally have called it, and a patriot rightly shrinks fromparroting something the Communists say. That reluctance should bedismissed because the difference is that the Communists want toreplace Fascism with their version of Socialism, which is of courseCommunism, while patriots want to replace the present Fascist systemwith the original system of Free Enterprise. Patriots want to revivethe dormant Constitution.This is important because no other term defines the present system inthe United States better than Fascism. A book that got by me because it has received even lessmedia coverage than Dr. Ron No Such Candidate , is The ChinaStudy, Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-TermHealth (Dallas, BenBella Books, 2005), by T. Colin , Ph.D.,who stands at the pinnacle of world scientific research. He isProfessor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell. He hasauthored more than 300 research papers and has received more thanseventy grant-years of peer-reviewed research funding.Conducted by Dr. , the twenty-year China Study remains thebiggest study ever conducted of what people eat. Dr. adds toit a mountain of enough other scientific studies by other scientistshigh enough to daunt Sir Edmund Hillary, the conqueror of Everest.The enormous body of findings proves that a plant-based diet – avegetarian diet that excludes meat (including fish and eggs) and dairy(including cheese) – not only produces sensible weight loss; it alsoarrests and even reverses killer diseases like diabetes, cancer andheart disease. (Remember, we are talking about a medical treatment,not about ordinary vegetarianism. I am not arguing for or against it.)Indeed, he says, it is a better cure for those diseases than any ofthe orthodox, government-endorsed treatments presently available.That is why I had never heard of his book. It isn't whether or not his ideas work for you; itis that Dr. 's findings have been suppressed in our Fascistsystem by a corporate monster that includes Big University, BigFederal Grants and Big Food, because those findings would turn thatsystem upside down. Imagine what would happen to behemoths likeMc's and the dairy industry were his findings generally known.Here are a couple of examples of what happens in our Fascist systemwhen doctors implement the findings in The China Study. McDougall, M.D., reports that he asked one cardiologist to let himshow a McDougall patient the scientific literature on the subjectafter the cardiologist recommended surgery. How these additives react together has just begun to bestudied in the last several years. Many study results are showing thatsome of these combinations can have a neurotoxic effect. In general,combinations of chemical additives seem to have a much more potenteffect on nerve cells than each chemical would have alone.For example, neurotoxic effects were studied for combinations of fourcommon additives: Brilliant Blue with MSG and Quinoline Yellow withaspartame. These mixtures were much more lethal on nerve cells thaneach additive alone. The effect of Brilliant Blue and MSG was up tofour times higher and Quinoline Yellow and aspartame was up to seventimes higher.The studies were conducted under laboratory conditions and theadditives were mixed in concentrations to duplicate the compound thatwould enter the bloodstream after a typical children's snack and drink.The study showed that when nerve cells were exposed to thesecombinations of additives, the additives actually halted the nervecells from their normal growth and further interfered with the propersignaling systems.These chemical additives (whether alone or mixed with others) carrythe most risk for infants and children. Young children are the mostvulnerable to chemicals that are carcinogens. This is because of theirlimited ability to detoxify because of the way their liver functionsduring infancy. In addition, their small size further provokes toxicity.Infants and young children have higher nutritional requirements thanolder people. Their smaller body mass as well as the fact that theirdiet has less variety also contributes to their increasedsusceptibility to toxic reactions.There are other factors that further increase the susceptibility ofinfants and young children to toxic additives. Most of these arerecognized by health and science industries but are not consideredwhen determining ADI levels for chemical additives. At this time thereis no testing for effects of additives on children's behavior or learning.Obviously, this is one of those many situations where concernedparents need to be aware of the effects that chemical additives may behaving on their children and caution needs to be applied to protectvulnerable youngsters from these poisons.
