Mine came with plastic lids, but I'd imagine you can get

them online. Call the jar company? Seems like all

those jars are standardized sizes.

You would think so, but they are not.

I got some recycled gallon jars froman assoicate (I use them to store herbs

too) and none of my lids (and I have several varities/sizes) fit. Agghhhh.

Too bad! Someone I knew used to get them from bars, where they

stored pickles, but I don't know if bars do that anymore. Even

kimchi is beginning to come in plastic jars.

Hi

Yes I plan on using the little wide mouth jars but am considering the large

pickle jars if I make a bigger quantity.

Kathy] I was seeing the Ball 1/2 gallon widemouth canning jars on the

internet; would those work?
