Hi ,

I have not dropped 100+, I have dropped more than 50 in the past and

have worked with clients who have dropped similar numbers. Although

it is not what I follow or recommend, just as a generic diet that

would do that for you following NT/WAP might be something along the

lines of mercola's diet at mercola.com there are lots of " plans " out

there that I'm sure others can post for you.

I would say the 3 most significant changes you'd need to make would be

1)Sugar elimination

2)Grain elinination (at least for a period of time)

3)Make sure your getting the appropriate healthy fats

just these 3 things would get you at least half way there.

If you'd like some more assist. let me know.

My husband has lost nearly 100, and has about 50 more to lose, which he

anticipates he'll do pretty easily. He follows Atkins and also has read

the GO-Diet. Both of these are concerned with cutting carbs, but not

with eating only " real " food, so he still uses artificial sweeteners and

protein drinks/bars, etc. :-( However, I figure at this point he's

still eating better than he was before, and once he goes to the

maintenance level of the diet, a lot of those " fake " foods will be

abandoned. (I hope!)

Anyway, all that to say that you may find some good diet tips and

recipes from those other high-protein diet folks, but don't expect them

to be NT.

,

this is from Dr. Mercola's latest newsletter -

" The Eades' second book, Protein Power LifePlan, is, from my perspective,

currently the best book on the market that outlines an effective program to

incorporate weight loss. "

the rest of the article is on

http://www.mercola.com/2002/aug/24/natural_hormone.htm

Dr. Mercola's own 'eating plan' http://www.mercola.com/diet.htm ( the

concise version) will definitely make you lose weight.

the detailed version is on

http://www.mercola.com/forms/wellness_condensed.htm

personally, I lost 50lb following the Palaeolithic diet guidelines as

described in Ray Audette's 'Neaderthin' combined with elements from NT and

understanding fats etc. check out the following sites -

http://www.paleodiet.com/ has an amazing collection of links and a wealth of

information.

http://www.geocities.com/paleolix/

from the above you'll be able to gain a lot of info to help you lose the

excess weight.

good luck,

Dedy

The Metabolic Typing Diet would help you find how to define your diet to

yourself along with NT and NAPD.
