Guest guest
I had a terrible ant problem at my house every summer--like an unbelievable invasion each June through October. I'm not talking about a few ants--any food left on the counter would be covered with a mass of ants within 15 minutes. I've never seen anything like it. I had very little luck with vinegar and other natural solutions. But I found a great product called Orange Guard sold by Gardens Alive. It's totally non-toxic to people and pets and works by repelling the ants. They hate it. Won't walk across any surface sprayed with it. The stuff will also kill ants if you spray them directly, but I was interested in non-lethal ways of dealing with the problem. THe first week or two when the invasion starts, I spray the counters and door sill every day. Then maybe once a week through June and July. By this time of year just a reminder is necessary once in a while. This stuff works!
