Guest guest
Hi , I got my lids at www.sunorganic.com They call them Sprout-Ease Jar Toppers. I use the large hole ones to strain off the kefir and keep the grains in the mason jar. However, I use the natural coffee filters with a rubber-band to hold the filter on while it's culturing. Robin <<Speaking of lids, weren't you the one who mentioned using sprouting lids with holes in them on ball/mason jars for brewing kefir? I've looked around for them, but I haven't found them anywhere. Any idea where I can find some?>>

Unfortunately they don't carry them anymore, but for anyone else who's interested, I just ordered two sets from www.superseeds.com. -
Guest guest
Robin- Forgot to say thanks for the tip! >They call them Sprout-Ease Jar Toppers. Oh, and for anyone else who's interested, I paid $4.98 per set -- you get three different mesh sizes in a set. -
