Guest guest
Hi , I read this book a few months ago and found it interesting but was dissappointed that it contained many " leaps to conclusion " without some strong evidence. For example in your quote of the book the following statement is made. One of the things ingesting wheat does is to set up a high probability of joint degeneration. ......In horses, too much grain in their diet can lead to a symptom called foundering. Foundering can be set off by too much grain, or many other metabolic disruptions. But it is not a joint degeneration problem. It is a severe inflamation of the tissue that holds the coffin bone to the hoof wall that causes the coffin bone to sink down (and rotate) into the hoof, no longer suspended by the tissue. My point is that while he seems to have some good information in the book that I agree with, I found several of these types of conclusions that cloud the credibility, unlike NT. Just my thoughts. And not that I don't agree that grains, flour and sugar are responsible for many of the chronic diseases we suffer from.
Guest guest
Hi , Yes I agree, I wish he had references in the book so one could tell on what he was basing his opinions and conclusions. I think he has a lot of good points and I think he is a gifted healer but like many he has his opinions which he seems unwilling to budge from or consider other data. Still I think there is a lot of good information in the book and I think he has many thought provoking points. -- -----Original Message----- From: Lein [mailto:smokey@...] Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 6:54 AM Subject: Re: [was arthritis-nutrition - electrical nutrition Hi , I read this book a few months ago and found it interesting but was dissappointed that it contained many " leaps to conclusion " without some strong evidence.
