Not sure if I had sent this once before or not, I know I sent it to Proctor & Gamble. GreenPeace is a huge global watchdog. I know they do alot of good discovering things, but I dont know how their track record has been on resolving things. We dont hear too much about their activities here in the States. (Might be a reason for that - hush hush) More recenty GreenPeace has gone a bit more Hollywood - with the Go Green promotions. Regardless, if you find a few extra bucks, send it their way, At least they are trying to do some good for our sick ol' world, and some rather large issues, like global warming. So in sending this older news about Pampers in Germany, I do not know what came out of that investigational information, or any further news about it. GreenPeace appears to be the first to test and send out the alarm about toxic diapers. I know that since 2000, more

chemicals have been discovered in diapers, the mercury we have discussed, and the heat damage they can do to developing testicles, and chemicals getting into skin and affecting the reproductive organs, at the minimum. And I already mentioned the grave problem of their toxic threat to the environment and volumous landfill management waste, as it takes 200-500 years for them to disenigrate. They are toxic waste and should be treated as so, but nobody has changed their minds to go back to calling the diapers toxic. THANKS TO PROCTOR & GAMBLE having its day in court to change the attitute of the real problems and dangers, back in the 90's when diapers were targeted to be considered toxic refuse. (Payola at it's Best) !!! Glad Day ~ Karla in IL http://archive.greenpeace.org/pressreleases/toxics/2000may152.html
