I read the Sac. Bee article. I personally cannot go all day without eating.

I have starved plenty on all the diets and fasts i've been on and it's

really toyed with me psychologically. Going hungry makes me panic now and

then overeat.

My feedback on it is read a different book.

It is as much waxing poetic fantasy as much of the vegan info out

there. The only difference is it emphasizes meat instead of not meat.

That looks sus to me that site. ( especially with harvey diamond in

so much of it ) I remember his vegetarian book with mostly raw

foods and that years later he backed away from it as his health was

declining

I glanced through it as well at the bookstore one day. It didn't strike

me as anything worthwhile.

Thanks , i take it you've read the book? From the look of the

contents, it looks interesting... but hard to say without reading it fully.

I guess its like most things, try it and see. May i suggest a book called

" How We Heal " by douglas on? It has an excellent content, with a well

written explanation of the 'Healing Crisis', as well as an expanded version

of the concept of 'Muscle Testing' (Kineisiology). Just thought that might

help put other information you come across into better perspective. I will

purchase the 'Warrior Diet' later when i have time to read it, but please

keep us posted with any findings and results, Chris

i don't know if you saw my previous post on this book however I would

not recommend it besides being nothing more than a sappy

philosophical perspective Hofimeyer (sp?) has. It has no merits what

so ever and would be an excellent way to raise cortisol levels and

stress the entire endocrine system. I don't often rail on authors

for speaking their truth but this particular book is based on pure

fantasy and machismo.

I have to say i know a few people who eat in a Warrior Diet way,

particularly one friend of ours. He sips espresso all day, works out instead

of eating during lunch, and then eats a few steaks and a green salad at

night. But i will also say this man is very much a 'warrior' personality:

aggressive, domineering but also very physically fit and strong. Wonder if

they're connected. I think it's plausible men are more adaptable to eating

once a day. Get them breastfeeding and pregnant and then we'll see how they

do eating like that :)

Elaine I know people like this too. I even know someone very close

to me who is capable of doing this and has done it extensively in the

past, namely me. It is an impressive place to be but the realities

of human physiology always win out and your friend is a perfect

candidate for " ... never had a sick day in his life before he died

perfectly healthy of a heart attack. " Its ultimately just bad inner

hygiene.
