Wasn't there a big flap about 20 years ago because it came out

that saccharine was carcinogenic? Personally, I think it tastes

horrid, anyway.

As for whipped cream, I never considered it would need a

" recipe " . I don't measure, I just pour cold cream into a cold bowl

(whips much faster if everything is cold, including the beaters or

whisk), add a tiny bit of maple syrup and a dash of vanilla extract,

then whip. I don't like it very sweet. You can taste the cream

before you whip it to see if it's sweet enough for you.
