Guest guest
does anyone know? my holistic vet wrote that there is approx. 1800-2000 mgs *elemental* Ca in a teaspoon of eggshell powder. Yet, in discussing this with some other folks, there seems to be a conflict. Others think that there's 1800-2000 mgs calcium *carbonate* in one teaspoon of eggshell powder. eggshell powder is primarily Ca carbonate, but the question is how much ca carbonate and how much elemental Ca. if i even knew for sure how much ca carbonate, then i could take 40% of that to get the elemental Ca content.
