Distilled Water

I heard the Swiss also live long from the mineral rich water of the alps. I

drink water out of the tap here. It is not flouridated and it is very

mineral rich. I don't know if it's right, it just feels right. The water is

very nice tasting. The Swiss farmers also rig up hoses coming from the

snowmelt into little fountains into the towns and along the pastures, so

when we go for walks, we can just drink from those.

We must move for my husband's work. I miss home too and being able to have

conversations with people. It's been pretty lonely, although my german is

finally getting good enough now that we're leaving.

> Just wanted to ask the group their opinions on drinking distilled water

exclusively. Have been drinking it for over two years when my distiller

went out. In perusing Dr. Mercola's website I read an article he wrote on

distilled water. Not enthusiastic about it to say the least. What do most

of ya'll use for water?

We use the reverse osmosis type filtered water, then I had mineral drops. I

think Dr. M is on target about distilled water tending to draw minerals out

of the body. I grew up in Nebraska, and they always used to say that

Nebraskans lived long because of our mineral rich water.

Sounds wonderful. Why exactly do you want to move to the US?

We get our drinking water from an artesian well about 15 miles from the farm.

I can show you a few communities on Islands that have no well

water. Every household has an elaborate guttering system and a cistern to

hold the rainwater. Every household needs dentistry regularly. They all

have bad teeth and soft bones. Not good. Mineral rich well water is best.

Mac

An interesting book called " Living Water " , by Callum Coats, suggests that

bore, well, lake & rain water are all immature, and that the only water

truly benificial for human consumption was true swpring water.

As spring water is difficult to aquire, people like Johan Grander (who was

awarded with the silver medal of honour from the natural acxademy of

sciences recently for his 'inventions') have attempted to replicate it. I

believe hes done a exceptional job, as has the Wellness filter,

Ciao, Chris

We sit on an aquifer, have a 14 foot deep well fed by 3 underground springs

that filter through sand into the well with nothing behind us but State

Forest.

Even though the soil is acidic the water is almost sweet. It tested 0 bacteria

when we had it tested when we bought. Somehow I feel it safer than being

exposed in an open spring. Although running water produces negative ions and

running water does clean itself (within reason) in its rolling over action.

We've never gone dry either in droughts that artesians run out in.
