Guest guest
Hi. We are getting confused in our search for a healthy kind of coconut oil for eating and cooking. We can find Spectrum Organic in a store near us, but there has been confusion with their labels. We bought some recently and realized it was " refined expeller pressed " (we're concerned about eating " refined " oil). Then we found that the store has the same product (same barcode) but the label describes it as Unrefined. Not sure what the change is about -- a mixup in their labelling? And we are wondering about the difference between using organic, expeller pressed, unrefined oil and virgin oil. Are the benefits the same? The expeller pressed is much more affordable for us, but we want to get the health benefits we're looking for by adding this to our diet. We'd appreciate any information anyone can offer about this. Thanks, Joanne and Ken
