Guest guest
I just received an off-list email from Astrid Froese that had the W32.Bugbear@mm virus attached to it. The email retained a subject that was a valid (although old) native nutrition thread. The attached file name was map.doc.pif. Keep an eye out and be careful not to open it if you get it. The fact that the email did not have anything to do with me suggests to me that the virus probably automatically sends itself to people who are in the inbox or address book...so I'd imagine everyone on the list is vulnerable... I tried to notify Astrid first, but I got an error from her provider that the account wasn't active...so the virus might be altering the " from " portion of the email header too. Guest guest
I received the same email from astrid. When I contacted her she knew nothing of it. I suspect scott is right in that it just randomly send email from her address book. dMM > I just received an off-list email from Astrid Froese that had the > W32.Bugbear@mm virus attached to it.
