Guest guest
belscb: although i can't answer your questions, i did just happen to read the following anecdote -- the author of this particular book (related to birthing of all things) was found to have 5 cavities. She had just read about how people can regenerate bone and other parts of their bodies through visualization. So she told the dentist she would wait, and over a period of time (sorry, i don't know how long), was able to heal three of the cavities through visualization. I think visualization is an important aspect, along with nutrition, to health and healing. If you are interested, there is a great taped healing series from a guy called May who is a healer using energy. He almost died in a car accident, was severely mangled, and through an apprenticeship with a healer, regenerated his legs to be fully functional. They were to be amputated but he continually refused. The url is synergy-co.com and he makes a green drink called Pure Synergy. Food for thought. Elaine
Guest guest
First of all, I would like to thank this group for answering so many of my questions in the past. Thank You! (man, this group is really getting BIG! Over 350 members now. Cool.) I have a couple of questions that I haven't been able to find the answers to. I have read Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, and all of the things Weston (A.) Price did to heal cavities. I recently went to the dentist and discovered that I have two cavities. Naturally (pun intended), I want to heal them instead of implanting mercury (fillings) into my body. In this day and age, what is the best way to heal cavities? I do NOT have ANY access to grass-fed butter. I do have access to Raw Milk (although it's from grain-fed cows), and very limited access to fish products. I was planning on following Weston A. Price by taking equal amounts of X-Factor Oil and High Vitamin Cod Liver Oil. I plan on taking 1 teaspoon a day of The Radiant Life X-factor Oil, and 1 tsp a day of High Vitamin Cod Liver Oil (also Radiant Life). I plan on combining these super foods with liberal amounts of grass-fed Liver, Kefir made from the Raw (grain fed) milk, various fermented organic grains, fresh oysters (I tend to become deficient in zinc easily), lard for extra vitamin D, fermented veggies, and beef stock, in addition to avoiding unhealthy items. I figure that this will cure my cavities within seven weeks. Here are my questions: 1. Would it be okay if I took MORE than 1 tsp of Cod Liver Oil? Can I take 1 Tbsp High Vitamin Cod Liver Oil and 1 tsp X-Factor Oil? Will that throw off the X-factor Oil to Cod Liver Oil ratio or something? Also, MUST I take the High Vitamin Cod Liver Oil, or can I take twice as much of the weak Cod Liver Oil (which would cost less for me)? 2. Do you think using beef gelatin (from a proper source) dissolved in water be just as good as making stock? 3. In your opinion, is it very important to get organic Lard when trying to obtain vitamin D and avoid poisons? I've read a lot about how pigs are exposed to more poisons than any other commercial animal, and about how they put poisons in their fat easier than other animals. Is this all " hogwash " ? Also, how could a commercial pig that never gets to bask in sunlight be so high in vitamin D? Don't pigs get vitamin D from the sun? If I want extra vitamin D will I just have to buy Organic Lard? 4. I have a problem with eating the same foods day after day, especially with Liver and Kefir (I yearn for the instant energy and feel-goodness they provide). But I don't want to get an allergy or anything. Do you think eating them everyday is OK? Aren't these items supposed to help rid one of allergies? 5. Wheat Germ Oil. Is there way too much Omega 6 in it? Is it high in Omega 3? I don't really know a whole lot about it? How much should one take? Ok, that's all. Thank you so much for your time. You don't know how much I appreciate this.
Guest guest
Thank you, I understand the risk if my teeth do not heal. If, after a certain amount of time, I do not heal the cavities, then I will get them filled. Root canal is something I DO NOT want. My cavities are not very advanced. In fact, to date I have experienced no pain whatsoever. So why should I use broth instead? Isn't that all that beef gelatin (from a proper source) is? Concentrated broth? Maybe I don't really understand what beef gelatin is... > I can't answer most of you questions, but would just advise 1) definitely do > the beef stock over gelatin solution, as it has too many rare nutrients from > bones, and beef bones are cheap anway, and 2) I highly recommend you get your > cavities filled with ceramic composite fillings (if you want to avoid > mercury) rather than depending on healing them. By all means, follow the > tooth remineralization diet, but whether your tooth will heal or not is > hardly an exact science, and it is _definitely_ not worth having it go to > root canal.
