Guest guest
Thanks piiaman, I will use the kefir whey in the soaking of my morning Irish oatmeal. It would be fun to try it with other grain recipes too, like muffins and pancakes. Thanks again, Sheila > yes, I use kefir whey to soak grains al the time. Guest guest
I use it for soaking oats and flour. It can be pretty vigorous though. I made some pancakes last week and had left the flour to soak for two days. The pancakes were wonderful but I had too much batter so I left it for the following day, but it had the added cocoa powder and a little sweetner in. Overnight the batter tripled in size! So take care if you add any sweetener to your soaks as it'll go crazy and you won't believe how much it expands!. <G> Den In article <an0eer+2sj6eGroups>, H2ocolor1937 wrote: > Hi All, > I would like to know if anyone has used kefir whey to soak oatmeal? > Thanks, > Sheila
