Has your friend tried Meadow Raised Meats? They're a

group of small farms throughout the upstate area who

are all committed to pasturing their animals. There's

a bunch of different critters available--beef, lamb,

goat, I think pork too. I was mail-ordering from them

until I found more local (western Massachusetts)

sources. I got organ meats, too, liver and

sweetbreads. They're website is

listings--I remember there being a lot of farms in NY.

part of this cooperative, and i told her she can access the other meats from

reminding me of that.
