Guest guest
Hi Elaine, Glutamine is a vital nutrient, and should be safe during pregnancy. I use only the powder, not the capsules. I have been taking it for years. Just a few of its attributes are, it is great for healing mucosal lining of the mouth and gut, helps with metabolism, and has been shown to relieve depression by balancing the neurochemcials in the brain. I have a couple of people (mother and daughter ages 78 and 53) I am advising that had severe colitis. Magnesium and l-glutamine have helped them to almost completely turn their symptoms around. As with anything, it would be best if you spoke to you health care practitioner before starting anything new, especially when pregnant. But can someone > tell me if it's safe during pregnancy? The book doesn't say. > Elaine
