Guest guest
I too developed hemolytic anemia from combo. When I dropeed my counts the 1st time, my doc had me take Vitamin C, E & Folic Acid to stimulate red cell production. That worked til I went back on and then 3 weeks later they dropped again. this time he sent me to a Hematologist for EPO injections. It took me 3 and a hlf wks to get my counts back up to an ok place. I restarted TX, but because I had been off for so long, I basically began over ( I get bloodwork done wkly. The hematologist calls and lets me know when I need an injection. Usually I get inj. every wk. That seems to be keeping my counts up. I am a vegetarian.....if my doc suggested I eat some meat..I'd take a bite out of him !!!!!!! Good luck, gee
