Hello to all! I have asked for prayers many times before on this

list, and here I am again! LOL. The request for my insurance

(United Healthcare) to cover the plastic surgery I need is in the

hands of the insurance company. It was faxed (and mailed) today. I

have a large umbilical hernia (pre-MGB), so I'm hoping that will

help sway things my way! They did pay 100% for the MGB, so I am

very hopeful.

Anyway, I just wanted to have good thoughts on my side, and I know

this group knows how I feel!

My prayers are with you. I would think with the hernia they would pay. U

have United Healthcare also and they didn't hesitate to pay the MGB. I had

approval within 48 hours. I will be interested to hear what the outcome is.

Oh no!!!!!!!! I had a feeling something was very wrong and I was so worried

it was her sister's cancer and she just got out of the hospital like only

one week ago. Larice is taking this very very hard I know. I watched family

die of cancer as most of us have one time or another and it is gut wrenching

to see them suffer. I'll certainly pray for her and her sister and family.

Prayer request

I have been in touch with our loveable Larice White and she requests

prayers for everyone. Her sister's cancer has unfortunately recurred

and spread and she is in the hospital again. They are hoping she will

be home for Christmas but they are not sure. She asks that you all keep

her sister and their entire family in your prayers. Thanks!

We have found out that we share a sad anniversary -- the day I lost my

mother was the day Larice's sister was diagnosed.....

I am so sorry to hear that you have had all of this heartache in your life.

Hi friends. sorry I haven't been posting. Alot has been going on here and I

want you all to know that even though I have not been posting that I am praying

daily for each and everyone of you.

I have had a friend of mine on our prayer list and would like to keep her and

add 3 more.

Defer: undergoing Chemo after a radical partial mastectomy. She very

ill from the chemo.

: Also undergoing Chemo for a very rare form of breast cancer.

My mom, having difficulties from a medication. She is 85, has muscular

dystrophy, and a gastro tube (can't swallow from losing muscles in her throat).

Her Dr put her on a medication to help her bones and didn't tell her the side

effects. She started having severe pain in her lungs and her pulse was up as

high as 126. We found out that the medication the Dr had given her had damaged

not only her throat but also may have caused an ulcer which is extremely

dangerous with a gastro tube. She is doing much better but will have to have a

lung x-ray to see if there are problems there.

The family of Sasha Hedgecock. She was the fiance of the young man who laid

our tile and put in our french doors. His name is Zack and they were planning

on getting married this year after dating for 5yrs. The 2 of them were

inseparable.

Both were very strong Christians and did alot of mishionary work in Mexico.

Early Christmas morning she was found lying in a field outside of town with at

least 4 gunshot wounds to the head. She was still alive but had hypothermia and

was airlifted to Lubbock Texas. She died Monday morning and our friend and her

family are having a terrible time coping. I talked with Zack this morning and

he said that she had gone to a convinience store for something and never came

home. They found her car at the convenience store but didn't find her until

early the next morning.

Sorry this is so long but would really appreciate the prayers.

I love you all and hope that this New Year holds only happy times.

Also and update on Hazel. She found out today that she is a full blown

diabetic, and the news is not sitting well with her. Please add her to your

prayers. We both have to go into a diabetes workshop at the end of the

How did you find out the diagnosis about diabetes with Hazel?

My dr isn't too helpful in that way--I'm sure that I'm moving in that

direction but I don't think i'm getting good direction in that area. It is

in my family and there are little things that make me wonder....
