Guest guest
Hello all, Here in Paris, there are only 5 qualified Chinese medicine practitioners that can do Acupuncture as well as herbal treatment. I went to one since the Western doctors told me that although I was positive for Hep C, and I have been sick, that there was no inflamation in my liver and that I was fine. So, the CM doctor tells me my symptoms make sense and that he can help. In fact, he claims he will have it all squared away in one year. I feel this is an eyebrow raising statement. I do however believe that there could be some help for me in there. He gave me my first Acupunture treatment and prescribed three herbal medications. I have no one in France to talk to about this or to share experienes with. I would love to hear from anyone involved in Chinese medicine. i will list below what he prescribed. I have read that it is dangerous for HCV+ people to take patented Chinese formulas due to the fact that there are often liver toxic substances in them. Any feedback? Chingyehtan tablets (swertiae mileensis) Lung Tan Xie Gan tablets Sexoton pills He also said no dairy, no sugar and for gods sake eat meat! I am a veggie. Thank you, Elan
