Guest guest
Hi, I have a question! I just ended the medication Arava because I was having all sorts of side effects. I now have a choice I have to make. If I stay with my current Health Plan, an HMO, Enbrel is only offered. They have a closed Formulary and Remicade is not on it. If I switch to another Health Plan, which is more of a traditional med plan, I will have the availabity of Remicade to me. It is Open Enrollment until Friday, so I need to make up my mind. Anyway, my question is, has anyone tried both of these meds? And if so, did one work better than the other? I don't know which way to go, and frankly the availabity of Medicines is what will make me elect to switch plans. Does anyone have any advise? Information? Thanks! Guest guest
Stacey. Since I've had great results with Enbrel, I am biased. I haven't tried Remicade, so I can't compare the two. If self injecting isn't a problem for you, Enbrel is a great medication. I am a little afraid of the side effects of Remicade, but if nothing else worked, I would definitely try it. a ----- Original Message ----- From: Stacey <StaceyT@...> < egroups> Sent: Tuesday, November 14, 2000 2:08 PM Subject: [ ] sorry if I have asked this question before- Remicade or Enbrel? > Hi, I have a question!
