Guest guest
Thats great news, Jillian. Congratulations. Ted F. > > Hi all, My name is Jillian. I am from Oklahoma. I just got my second cochlear implant turned on in my left ear on January 17,2011. It has been wonderful ever since i got it. I have N5 in both ears. On my right ear, I had my implant for ten years. I had freedom processor but then i got upgrade to N5 as well. I have been noticing some difference from having one cochlear implant to two implant. I used to be against having two implant because i thought i was doing so well with just one then i decided to give it a try. Ever since I got it turned on I been listening to a lot of music and it like i am a teenager again. I didnt listen to music growing up because i didnt like not understanding what they were saying. I am glad I had the surgery. I was afraid i would not like it. >
Guest guest
Hello n, If you read the New Member doc. that was sent to you when you joined.(or go to FILES , then New Member doc. ,Commonly asked Questions, # 13, page 4,) you will see that the answer is yes. Read what is posted there and that will give you more info on that subject. It's important to read the whole document as a lot of time has been put into it to help new members learn about iodine and it's benefits. Kathleen Hello I wanted to know if you can take iodine if you have hashimotos's? Right now I am hyperthyroid. I really don't have that much iodine. I live in Wyoming which is a goiter belt. I stopped taking any vitamins that have iodine because my endo told me to because of the hashi's.

Guest guest
Wow, that must have been difficult to have that many surgeries as a young person. What do you mean by bionic ear? Do you wear a hearing aid or something else? Gerry > > i was diagnosed with cholesteatoma when i was six which was 12 years ago. i have had seven surgery's,and have a total bionic ear, at least thats what my friends call it. I was born with it, and found out in first grade. I look forward to hearing other peoples story's. >

Guest guest
Hello, I'm trying to get off of zoloft. Is there anyone here who got off this ssri after ten+ years? I'm afraid I will never be as happy as when I was on it, but I think it is wreaking havoc on my body. Anyone out there?

Guest guest
I have never taken any of these medications but lost a son due to the horrific side effects they cause in some people. My concern for you is that most people, and many doctors, have no clue how to properly withdraw from these medications, which causes another set of potentially life-threatening reactions. I have a terrible time remembering the name of Creel's group but hope that she or another member chimes in and provides you with contact information for her recovery group. You can do this but rarely can anyone do it on their own. Is your doctor leading your efforts to withdraw? Guest guest
Hi , Be aware that the FDA has given strong warnings about the potential for suicidal thoughts and acts during any dosage change for any antidepressant for a minority of the population. For children 1 in 50 can become suicidal, I believe its 1 in 50 in adults too. Jim On 5/12/2011 11:34 AM, W. wrote: Hello, I'm trying to get off of zoloft.
