Guest guest
Debs, Thank you so much for this warm note that you sent before Christmas. I realized that you had already left for Chicago before I had a chance to respond. I thought I wouldn't see you posting until you returned - wrong! I'm so surprised and glad to get a Chi-Town report from you. I'm pleased that you enjoy being a part of this group. We are happy to have such an enthusiastic new friend who is willing to jump right in and share what you are thinking and what's happening in your world. You have many difficult challenges right now, but you have a spunky spirit and marvelous attitude. I'm not sure I would have attempted a trip to Chicago so soon after a second total knee replacement. Please do take your kidney medicine as instructed! What med are you on? Protect those precious kidneys for lupus can be a threat to them. How has your lupus affected them to date? Of course, don't feel compelled to answer any of these questions should you feel uncomfortable doing so. Sorry that you have to make a decision about work so very soon. No fun having that hanging over your head for the holidays. I hope that you decide what to do without too much of a struggle. The trip to Chicago sounded just awful. I've done that kind of thing too often. Glad you are here safely, even if it was hours and hours after your expected arrival. Too bad it's so cold and snowy. That probably isn't helping the way you feel. It looks beautiful though, doesn't it? Families at the holidays can be both wonderful and troublesome - a lot of deep feelings are apt to come out. I know just what you mean about the visiting and all of the activities, some of which would not be your choice. Sounds as if you are doing a good job of grinning and bearing it. I'm exhausted, and I didn't travel anywhere. How much longer will you be here? Hope the trip home is MUCH better for you and your family and that you can get through this visit without hurting your body. No falling allowed! ----- Original Message ----- From: <Auntblabbie2000@...> < egroups> Sent: Thursday, December 21, 2000 4:56 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Announcement of news for the RA list > , > > the announcement should have read GREAT Announcement of News......you are a > terrific contributor to this group.
