To hell in a handbasket!!!! We are the most drugged up nation in the world. We are a society of quick-fix junkies. We love our pills. We've been brainwashed and dumbed down for 40 years. This society scares the hell out of me. How do you know that the person in the check-out line at Safeway isn't going to pull out a gun and shoot you? Or the guy in the car behind you decides you're going to slow and runs you off the road? This country is a freak show with the patients running the asylum. Guest guest
Now, now, Glitter. Calm down. I think you are exhibiting signs of paranoia, pessimism, and irrational fear. Someone get the DSM-IV quick! She's suffering from a severe case of - quick - what is it called?!?!? Oh, yeah, it's a condition called SANITY! Guest guest
I agree it's bad. Most people don't see it or can't but I have a deep faith in people. Call it agape or whatever you want. I know it's bad but I know that the more people that become aware of what's going on will do the right things to make the changes. I believe people are basically good, maybe so deep down that it's impossible to see, and I think that truth always will triumph over lies and good will always triumph over evil. It is a dangerous environment out there and there is a facade that it's not so dangerous. But there are still amazing things that happen every day. The news does not show these things. Small things like the joy letting someone in fron of me when in traffic, people like to help and people want others to be happy. I see both sides and know that there is, behind the insanity, good intensions and hope. So don't give up hope but don't relax either because we are fighting for everyone with the work that we do.
